In the last update the font of subtitles in VOD was changed. I particular don’t like it, I prefer the standard format with plain white font. How do we change/configure it?

Hi there, still same format!

Do Factory Reset and try again.
Make sure to write down your portal settings before doing the Factory Reset.

Same format after factory reset.

Delete current MOL app and install then newest MOL 1.9.41.

still the same for me, after factory reset and unistall/install app.

Hm, this makes no sense, because new MOL use normal subtitle font format and with factory reset should all work like usual. Are we talking here maybe about hardcoded subtitles in video? This can not be changed. Try to turn off subtitles and test again please.

No my service provides external subtitles, and on players like kodi they appears white font.

Have no more ideas then this two.
1. Try to change default vod player to external under MOL Settings and test again.
2. Clear all data and cache from MOL under Android-> App settings.

1. KODI shows solid white fonts
2. Done that and still the same, black font with white border on MOL player. -
The fix in this last update only get the subtitles worse than before, now there’s a pixelized shadow around the letters
