Try reformatting USB stick/drive (format to NTFS for best results) and plug back into decide and perform a simple reboot. See if that works

lol. I just realised usb was full from pausing live tv, is their a way of clearing the usb with paused items from within the box iteslf. When u press on playlist it tells u their is no recordings yet the usb was full from different pauses over the last couple of weeks
There is a known issue with the _timeshift.ts file taking up all the space on the external storage. Normally this file should only take up a fixed amount of space. This issue will be addressed in the August/September software update. Thanks for your patience
Edit to add:
The current workaround is to change to another channel and back to the one you want to record.
This will delete the cached timeshift file and free up space for recording.
