Audio Distortion on Ondemand media

    Hoping you can help.


    When watching on demand media, there is a strage sound vibration or distortion every 5 mins or so. It just lasts 2 or 3 seconds but really annoying as any sound or dialogue cannot be heard.


    Happens whether I use soundbar or just tv speakers.


    Doesn't happen when I play same media on another box (e.g enigma2 box). Doesnt happen when watching live IPTV content.


    Is this a known issue ?

  • This isn't a known issue.


    Unfortunately it is impossible to debug without getting the media file for testing.


    Are you saying the exact same stream source/media is being played back on your e2 box and it is ok?

    What method or protocol are you using to playback the media on the e2 box?

  • Try adjusting the Android sound output settings to make sure it matches your equipment.


    If that doesn't work, Do a factory reset and try again.
