Brand new device doesn't work

  • I received this device about 6 hours ago, finally got home, plugged it in and it required an update


    The screen changed to multiple colors then stayed there with no change, eventually I gave up waiting and pulled the power


    Put the power back in, the red light turns on but that's it... the device doesn't respond to the remote, just sticks with the red light and that's it


    Is this device done or what?

    Have to admit, incredibly frustrating
