Apps won't install/Apks3wont install

    First post so if I say something I shouldn't then please accept my apologies.

    Not long had my Formuler z box, but today no apks will install and apps won't install from the market, I keep getting a message "can't parse file" and "install fail error code 2"

    Any ideas how I can sort this

    Please make sure you have updated to the latest firmware on your Z Prime.

    You can check for firmware updates by going to the Update App located in the Quick Settings menu:

    Home >> Settings (cog wheel icon) >> Update


    If your box is up-to-date, but you still can't install any apps, then I recommend you do a Factory Reset of your box.

    This procedure will erase all data and return the unit to factory state:

    Home >> Settings >> System >> Factory Reset

    Unsolicited PMs for support will be ignored.

    Duplicate support requests to the forums and helpdesk will be ignored.

  • thanks very much. Nothing saved on it anyway apart from my mac address details for my Iptv, will affect that??

  • MAC is not affected.


    If you still have an active subscription with a portal provider, it would be wise to write down the portal URL so you can input it again after the Factory Reset procedure.

    I have the same problem even with apps in the market.

    It occurs after every update.

    Furthermore, the apps already installed doesn't launch anymore.

    I updated the formuler this week and i can't launch kodi from now on.


    When i do a factory reset, it comes back to normal but if i have to do a factory reset after every update, it's not very convenient...


    Any tips?
