Hi
Will any DVB T or T2 usb tuner work on the z8 or is the formuler USB TV tuner the only one that works ?
I can see the Chinese copy ones at about £5 but also some original ones for about £15.... will they work ?
Thanks in advance
Martyn

USB DVB support on Z8 is not implemented yet. For now all other Z and S boxes supports in MOL1 only formulers usb tuner.
How long are Formuler going to take to implement the DVB USB stick on to the Z8?
We would like an update on this issue please, I was sold the tuner with the info from WOS that it worked.
There has only been silence since I raised the issue and SAM told us they had yet to implement it for the Z8. I am holding on to mr Formuler DVB Tuner in the hope they will, eventually update the firmware. However, I have already had to revert to a factory reset after the latest update and turn auto- update off, because the whole thing became unusable. So I am not optimistic. Perhaps SAM could advise us?
Again I ask, when is this issue going to be sorted. you should remove this device from all sellers until it is sorted.
Out of respect please answer this post with an update
And again i tell you, will be implemented when the devs. implement DVBT, maybe in summer update.

Are you from competition? If you are not happy with the box, why don`t you give it back to the seller?
maybe in summer update.
Maybe ?
I take it the dev's are aware of the issue. ?
Yes maybe! Until i don`t have 100% verified information from devs., when this option will be implemented, i will always write maybe...
When the date is known, then i will announce this on Forum.
In the politest way possible I have to tell you that you should not market the DVBT USB as being compatible with the Z series of boxes, when it will not work, yet, with the Z8. I look forward to your people making the necessary firmware changes. However, don’t get annoyed with customers who buy in good faith, only to find your product does not do what you promise.

It clearly states that the USB DVB-T tuner is "Coming Soon" on the Z8 product page.
Are you from the competition here to provoke the community or are you just being obtuse on purpose?
Pardon me, but please don’t accuse me of being anything but honest. On the product page of the Formuler TV web site under the tab “Accessories” there is a large picture of the DVBT stick. Under the image are the following words. “Compatible with Z and S-Series products”. Which part of that claim tells the customer its compatibility withe the Z8 “ is coming soon”? I think the Z8 is a great box and I am keeping the DVBT stick - in the hope that, one day, they may work together. You insult me by implying I am trying to “ provoke the community”, all I am trying to do is get Formuler TV to live up to their marketing claims.

So you admit to completely ignore the Z8 product page?
Don't bother to reply. We know you are are rabble rouser.
