In the past I could record things, now my Z8 does not respond to the recording button.
In the EPG I can only record future programs, not the one that is running.
What can be wrong?

I solved it.
It looks like the USB-SSD was not formatted the right way.
Feature request: when an external device is not compatible for some reason, let the device give a warning instead of je "not working"
Also, in the user manual, warn users for this problem!
So, recording is not possible for external drives formatted in other file systems other than extFAT? I have an external drive formatted in ext4 and I can see and play the contents using VLC app but I tried to record a kid's show and it seemed to be recording but I can't find the show anywhere. The "Recordings" menu of MyTvOnline2 says it's empty.
I already saw that. But why there is this limitation about filesystems? Why, as an Adroid box, it doesn't support ext4 and other Linux based filesystems?
Ok, one other question about recording. Isn't it possible to change channel when the box is recording?
Not yet, will come with next or after next update! Please note, for such feature, recording and watching other channel you need multisub from your provider. In clear words one sub with two lines. You should check this first with your Provider.

I don't know why ask Android. Don't see this as any issue just format to NTFS.

Not possible, but you can use other iptv app while mol2 is recording.

So that means that in addition to the box be able to record a show an change channel, I also need to pay for a second line to my IPTV provider so that the feature can fully work?

What other IPTV app would you recommend?

The feature will depend from your subscription and what is possible on provider side and not from the box or mol2. If your provider give your sub. multiple lines then you can use it without problems, if not and they give you only one stream at once then you have to upgrade your sub to use the feature. So, yes this must be discussed with the provider first otherwise if you try to use this and the sub can`t handle this, could lead into ip block. It`s simple tech.
Please understand the logic behind this. The box is then not the limited device it depends all from your provider what and how much you get from him.
Just for curiosity, you know an app for IPTV called "Gotit"?

I haven't heard of it before.
Ok, I have formatted a pen drive as exFAT and tried to access it in my Formuler Z8 and my file explorer says "Access denied". What else do I need to do?

Do you have some issue with using FAT32 or NTFS filesystems?
Which file explorer app are you using?
Did you grand external storage permission to the file explorer app?

I'm using CS File Explorer. Where do I set permissions? I tend to run away from Windows world. I have "a thing" for Linux world!

Android Settings > Apps > CS File Exp > Permissions

I don't the menus exactly like that but it's like:
Android Settings -> Applications -> CS File Explorer -> Authorizations -> Storage (Slider is activated)
Some pictures:
But even with the slider activated, when I try to access the drive, it still says "Access Denied"

Use the included File Manager app and try to open the USB from there.

Ok, I managed to work it around by uninstalling that app and installing EZ File Manager. I can already record stuff in my external storage and access both storages.
