I wonder if the CeC function is now ready. I saw a message from Feb 2019 and nothing since. Cec is ok when you turn TV off (Z8 switch off) but if we turn on stb, nothing about TV.

Unfortunately, the Z8 doesn’t (seem to) support CEC at the time. The option to turn it on or off is there, but apart from showing a device name in your TV’s menu (source selection), the function doesn’t work. Some users have reported that the Z8 does switch off in sync with the TV, but apart from that, success rates are, unfortunately, virtually non-existent. And it’s a shame, too, as I’d love to be able to have the tv automatically select the correct source. But alas…
