All the Formuler Boxes work with the known 3 protocols. Stalker portal with registered MAC /ID, XC Api (Xtreme Codec) with login portal or m3u playlist.

If your app needs Android 8 it will not work but for IPTV you have Formuler own App MYTVOnline. What you need is only your M3U Url from Provider to use and watch IPTV.
But at the same time i am asking whether it can handle OTT service that requires "Google certified Android TV Boxes" since it is equally important for me.
In this case would the Z8 pro be better solution.

Tested your cosmotetv app, doesn`t work on Android 7.
No, i think you misunderstand me. The ott app will not work on any current Formuler box because of missing Android 8 OS. The app checks after first start the installed OS and refuse the work, tested on Z7+Z8. If you just want to use it for IPTV then is all fine, you can take the box you like.
