  • I just got my z8pro yesterday and like it so far. I am using the mol 2 player, and have done all the updates

The problem I am having is inserting my playlist from m3u4u. If I enter my playlist as a portal with the server, and then enter the username followed by the password it works fine. If I enter it as the line that comes from m3u4u, I can not get it to load.

Using the playlist from m3u4u is important to me because I add my locals from my HD home run and merge them with my iptv providers list. I also like their epg better than the one my provider has.

Everything works normal as expected with my nvidia shield and tivimate.

this is how I tried to add the playlist:

    I Selected "Add m3u Playlist"

I entered the line as http://m3u4u.com/m3u/xxxxxxxxxxxxx

When I hit connect, I get "Error m3u error, Check m3u URL Code: 11"

This is the same line I use in tivimate on my nvidia shield and it still works fine.

Any help with this issue would be appreciated.

When I hit connect, I get "Error m3u error, Check m3u URL Code: 11"

    Means : m3u URL invalid/incorrect

Check your url again. If you think this should work on Formuler Box 100% then open new support ticket at https://support.formuler.tv and provide a detailed issue description.

  • Hi Sam...

I installed Tivimate on the formuler and tried the link. It too, wouldnt load up on tivimate. So I figured the link must be corrupted some way.

So I went to the playlist on m3u4u and copied the playlist. I added the copy to tivimate on the formuler and it would open. So I then added that link to mol2. This time it opened up with no issues, but did not have my locals, where on tivimate on the formuler they were there.

My locals are added to my playlist in m3u4u. They come from my hdhomerun. I placed all my hdhomerun locals at the very top of the playlist so they are the first 15 or so channels. They work just fine on the tivimate app that I installed on my formuler. On mol2, the channels are not even listed there. It opens starting as channel 16, with just the iptv channels.

Without revealing any private info, can you share the format of the hdhomerun URL contained in your m3u?

    starting with #EXTINF:

    example:

    Code
    #EXTINF:-1,Local Channel 1
    https://the.stream.url/abcdefg

    #EXTINF:-1 tvg-id="(no tvg-id)" tvg-name="27.2 Antenna TV" tvg-logo="" group-title="[US-ENTERTAINMENT]",27.2 Antenna TV

    http://192.168.1.239:5004/auto/v27.2

Thank you. I don't see any obvious issue why it wouldn't work in MOL2 based on the URL format.

Please PM me so I can get more details to forward to the developers.

Be prepared to provide the exact model number of your HDHomerun device in case the developers need to purchase one to reproduce your problem.

Unsolicited PMs for support will be ignored.

Duplicate support requests to the forums and helpdesk will be ignored.
