Has the new GTV Box the same Remote Code as the Z8 ?
Because I want to use both in the same Room
.If same Code they will disturb each other,as both Boxes react using Remote Control.
Some other Boxes as Gigablue have 2 different Codes tu use

GTV has the BT1 Bluetooth remote which you pair with box
Should Imagine IR are the same as remotes work across the range
But the Qestion is, is the remote Code different to Z8
as I will use both Boxes in the same Room.
Two z8 was impossible as both react of Remote as both the same code .Is the Bluetooth different to normal Z8?

If the remote is paired Only the GTV react of the BT Remote not the Z8 too?
It will only pair with 1 box at a time when In Bluetooth
I have 2 Z8's and 2 BT1 remotes because of this
THANKS
Just thought If your using old version IR remote on z8 I think that will cause problems.
I don't have GTV so can't test
I forget because of 2 BT1 controls here
If you have an older Z8, the IR signals from the remote cannot control the GTV.
If you have a newer Z8 and '02F9' is printed on the front of the remote under the Formuler logo, there is a possibility for interference.
In order to minimize the chance for interference, do the below:
Use GTV with BT1 remote in BLUETOOTH mode.
Now I have the GTV and Remote of old Z8 dont dont work at GTV thats good.GTV Remote did work at old Z8 that ist bad.But after some Configuration GTV not wok on old Z8 -thats good.
Display MoreHello!
I put together an 80s-90s Denon system. Wondering if there was a way to get everything on a universal remote or close to it:
AVC-3030 Amplifier - came with Universal remote RC-162
TU380RD Tuner - can control with RC-162 (preset stations selection up and down)
programming ge universal remote WITHOUT CODES
DCD590 CD Player - can ebay RC-241, can I program to universal remote?
DRM700 Casette player - manual says can use corded remote, can't find ANY info on this except to connect cassette player to DRA series receiver via mini plug and use the receiver's remote
I can get up and push the buttons of course but thought it would be cool...thanks!
Find and purchase a Logitech Harmony remote. It may not be easy to fine because they have been discontinued recently by the manufacturer.

The GTV and Remote of the old Z8 no longer work with the GTV that is good. The remote of the old Z8 used to work with the GTV, but after some configuration the GTV no longer works with it - that is also good.
