  • Is it possible to set a schedule for a timer recording and watch the recording when the recording is in progress?

I tried to do this, unfortunately it appears that the recorded programme is not available in the play list until the scheduled recording is finished.

  • Hi, I am not sure that you cannot watch it from the playlist until it is completed. You can however, watch the recording while you are recording it by accessing the channel/program and watching it while you record. If you wait a few minutes, you can restart your recording on the screen and fast forward through the commercials until you catch up to the actual time. Hope this helps Cheers J

  • For such use is local Timeshift option available, you are recording same channel in background but use timeshift file to start from beginning what you already recording in background. Means recording is in progress but Timeshift saves temporarily same show in second file (After channel change is this file deleted automatically). The timeline dot is in this case also shown in red and not blue colour. When the show is ended and recording too, then it is available in recording section and you can play the recorded file.

    Try it.

  • I use Sam's method also and it works really well, but you do not need to rewind to the start and see the spoilers, just hit the Restart Icon on the recording bar and it will jump right to the start without showing you anything that has been recorded. That may also help you. Cheers J

  • Ok, so here are two pictures. The first one shows that you are recording a live show. The second one shows the recording line when you select the left side of the enter button. You sill see this recording bar. Then you move your cursor to the single arrow with the line in front of it and select that feature. It will automatically jump you to the very start of your recording and you will not see any recorded info or spoilers. You can then keep it on pause until you wish to start veiwing.

    Hope this helps. Cheers J
