Epg missing but not really

my z11 pro was fine until update to 11.2.9

Now the epg data shown for a channel is only good for 23 hours despite content refresh every day when pressing guide button and looking ahead or eventually it will say no information.

However the epg data is good and can be found for same channel by guide data for channel only for a week.

Obviously another bug.

Look at pics below. Epg data is there but z11 since update will only show 23 hrs of it on guide till it has to be epg deleted and updated.

Please fix a real pain

I have a Z8, but it sounds like we have the same provider.

so the z11 even refreshing epg every day will lose guide after 23 hrs. The fix is to clear and update epg and then its good for 23 hrs again

By changing my epg mode to alternative fixed all my epg woes. Thanks

followed your instructions and I have no way to change to alternate.

On content sources> portal> edit portal

All I have is epg offset which is time adjustments and epg update interval I have looked everywhere for a way to change epg to alternate and its not to be found on my z11

There is a difference in EPG data type between Grid EPG and Single EPG in XC portals (uses ID&PW to login). This could be the reason and if it is, it'll show the same amount of EPG in other players as well. For further support, check your conversation.

that doesn't explain why I have to delete epg and re update it to keep epg going.

It shows today till 23 hrs from update if you clear and update epg. After 23 hrs no more epg until I clear epg and update. I'm now doing this every day to keep a days worth of epg otherwise after a day it shows no information for everything

Set Schedule Refresh to the time you don't watch TV. Make sure to click Refresh Contents to receive the new data.

the refresh contents is on and updating daily. For some reason it's not overwriting epg data

Go to Content Manager > Content Sources > Select your current portal > Edit > Set EPG Update Interval to less than 24 hours.

You are using XC Api Portal, like shown on screenshot. To use Alternate EPG you have to change to Stalker MAC/ID protocol, alternate epg is only with this protocol available.

ok understood. Problem is I only can schedul from grid and not frome Single EPG. So we're limited to 24h scheduls ...

Hello... I have 2 subscriptions mac and xc and since the last update all the epg of the subscription mac and xc went to "no information"... before the last update everything was fine with the epg... any help to solve this problem...?

I do have the same issue that the epg is not updating, i have 2 xc portals and normaly it updates every day automaticly but since the update, last epg update does not change anymore only last content update changes you can see that because it shows the date . I can refresh new content that works fine. only when i update the epg manualy it changes to the current date

Go to Content Manager > Content Sources > select your current portal > Edit > change the EPG update interval. On one of my Z11Pros the setting was set to 24 hrs and the other one it was set to None.

Hi, i using xc api and on z11 pro max i dont have epg. Same on z10 pro max,

but on my z8 with same sub epg working perfectly

Perhaps if you put a print screen of your EPG maybe it could help. The procedure indicated just above did the trick for me.

One more important thing is (when XC Api in use, Stalker too) not to use at end of the url the char "/". This have to be deleted otherwise the EPG doesn`t load in some cases.
