  • I need to position a dish. Can I use Formuler F4 to see signal strength? If yes then how should I do that?

    I believe this is the place where this functionality should be:

    Menu->Setup->Service Searching->Satfinder

    But when I enter this menu the signal strength is always 0%. Please see the picture.

    When I did this on my previous receiver (Sezam 7500M) it showed at least some noise at 5-8%.

  • yes but for dish calibration its not good solution. Possible but to difficult and you should also set befor searching the proper diseqc port and other [lexicon]settings[/lexicon]. Showed Transponder must be also activ

    So how should I do that? What [lexicon]settings[/lexicon] should I switch on?

    As you see, I selected a satellite and and an active transponder and got 0% signal while I expected at least 5-8% noise. I tried to rotate the dish, no change.

    I don't use diseqc for antenna rotation.
