Has anyone loaded the eufy security cam app on their Z11 Pro Max? It doesn't show up on the Google Play Store via Z11 but I was able to download the APK file but haven't been able to sideload it. The Z11 says there is no app to run the APK file when I try loading it. Is there a way to sideload APK's on the Z11 Pro Max?

I tried this and it says "No app found to handle this file". This is using the Downloader app via the Market store. There is no default file manager installed on the Z11 Pro Max that I was able to find.

Is the apk new and can work with OS11 or created for older OS?
Install TV File Commander from Market

According to the APKMirror description, it says for Android 8.0+ or newer and is updated as of August 19, 2024. When I click on the file using FK TV File Commander is says "No apps can perform this action".

I downloaded it too for test for you. But its a .apkm file and not a .apk file.
So you need to look on that website for a apkm installer. Then you should install the apkm file

Downloader has been forced to change its version due to copyright infringment.
There is a new version which is available in Google playstore but the one in market is still the old version that no longer works.
Would be great if this market version could be updated.
V 1.5.1 is the only version that will work.

Thanks Lucky133 and conzo69 for your responses and tips! I will try them and see if I can also find an APKMinstaller.

I found APKM Installer on the playstore and it was able to sideload the eufy APKM file. Unfortunately the app itself doesn't seem to like the Formuler Z11 Pro Max and runs very slow and crashes too often. I guess it wasn't meant to be. Thanks for everyone's help!

Great you do it yourself. Good job. You installed the latest version. And yes, not all apps are for boxes. Maby if eufy bring a androidtv version out, you got more luck.
