TV turns on when Recording

    I have HDMI CEC turned on and it is handy when turning the system off for the night I turn off the Android box and because I have CEC on it also turns off the TV automatically. When Z11pro max with MOL3 starts to record a show at 4 in the morning it turns on the TV. Reading through some of the other threads is this correct: the only way to stop your TV from turning on when recording something you have to turn off HDMI CEC? Is there a way to keep CEC on and not have the TV turn on when recording? Does it make a difference if you turn off the z11 or put it in standby?

    I usually record at nighttime from standby position,never had any problem with tv switching on.
