  • Z11 Pro Max connected via 1Gb ethernet. When my Z11 is restarted or powered up from shut down, it says that ethernet is not connected. A simple unplug and replug of the same cable to the same port, fixes it. This happens on every port and with different cables. The Z11 is the only device that has this issue. I have tried a Z8 Pro and CC with same cable to same port without issue.

    Thank you

  • Go to Network -> Ethernet ->IP Settings and execute DHCP once, test again. If Private DNS or similar active , set to off and VPN off to test if the VPN is the issue.

Try turning off both Formuler and router at power mains for a few minutes and then reboot both.

  • cant log into prime video through formuler getting a notice that something is wrong with my internet

    Try what sam said.

Go to Network -> Ethernet ->IP Settings and execute DHCP once, test again. If Private DNS or similar active , set to off and VPN off to test if the VPN is the issue.

Check also cable and shut device off.

Restart your router and after 5 minutes max, turn on your formuler box.

    Check for internet again.

You got wifi on your mobile phone? If not? Reset your router! My brother had same problem. Totally No internet. Only factory reset router has problem solved. Bit if you got wifi on you phone in shoulnd be nessesary.

    Goodluck my friend.

    Problem solved!

I just want to pass this along in case anyone may have issues in the future, especially if using an expansion hub.

I was using an Anker A7522 USB & ethernet hub for my Z11PM because I have an SSHD for recordings and an OTA tuner as well. So, I needed the extra USB ports. Having an extra 1G ethernet is a bonus. This hub is not externally powered and it got me thinking if there was a low power issue at startup.

I swapped in an Anker 555 hub that I use for my laptop because you can add external power. Laptop has enough headroom that it doesn't need extra power but the Z11PM apparently does not. Once connected and a 15w power supply attached, no more issue with ethernet coming up "not connected" on boot/reboot.

Hope this helps someone out in the future. Thanks again.

Thanks for sharing your experience for other users. Good job.

  • Thank you for feedback, but the use of Hub for Ethernet info was missing in first post/reporting!
