Formuler Z11 interferes with PS5 HDMI signal

    Good day all, on this last day of the year,


    I have an issue where my PS5 doesn’t detect a HDMI signal from my tv when my Z11 is turned on. Even when I start up my PS5 and the Z11 isn’t turned on, I first have to turn on the Z11 and then turn it it back off to get a signal.


    I’ve had this issue a couple of months ago and all by itself it got solved. But now it’s suddenly returned. I’ve noticed that when I start the PS5 in safe mode and place the Video output > HDCP mode in 1.4 only, instead of Automatically, I don’t have this issue. But then I can’t play on 4K on 120 fps anymore.


    Does anyone ever had this issue or any solutions that might help.

    Hi,

    change your HDCP on Formuler box to 2.2, ps5 use it too. If this doesn`t help deactivate HDMI CEC on your Z11.

    Thanks for the reply. How do I do that? I can only see HDCP on or off in the developers options and that I’ve tried. When I restart the box, HDCP is back on again. The CEC doesn’t help either.

    I tried both, no result. I don't know what else to do. Maybe it's not necessarily a problem of the Formuler, maybe someone has a solution involving the Playstation? Ot maybe it's a Samung issue? Already tried several things on both.


    It's just typical that I have to turn the Formuler on and off at least once to get an image....

    Can also be samsung tv yes. A hdmi setting like deep collour and or hdmi cec.


    If possible and you got the time, try ps5 and box on other tv. If you have more tv's of course.

    Then you know for sure, but a other brand than samsung then:winking_face:


    Finding a solution is sometimes a lot of trying things.
