Hi I have a Formuler Z11 pro max android box , lately upon power up I have no signal and the only way to resolve by this is a forced reboot. I am using the latest firmware and am using a high speed HDMI cable any suggestions will be much appreciated.

Hi,
please describe in detail no signal, what happens after power up, do you see home menu and happens then or just the Info "No Signal" without any picture?

Thanks Sam yes on power up I have the white power light on but I get a blank screen with the message no signal on my tv screen. The only way around this is to force a reboot either with the remote power button or by unplugging and replugging the Z11 Pro Max to force the unit to restart. I have the latest firmware installed and I am using the recommended high speed HDMI cable.

Ok, please check in Android Settings -> Device Preferences -> Display and Sound -> HDCP Setting and change from current to other 1.4<>2.2. On older TV`s is 1.4 better choice.

Hi Sam I have a Sony A8 android smart TV but I can't find any mention in settings for HDCP

The settings for this are on the Formuler device, not the Smart TV.
You'd head to settings (usually gear icon, top right) and then go into the Android settings on the device itself. I believe then Device Preferences, and then Sam's directions above.
The thing is though, is in my experience, it's disabled by default and is something I enable myself.
So you may wish to experiment with these toggles.Otherwise as long as the LED on the box is white and not red, then the issue is likely with your TV input or the HDMI cable itself
Lastly, try switching HDMI inputs

Also you never explained if you're shutting the box down at power down. A lot of people have this strange habit of thinking they MUST power down constantly.
If your LED light is red, this would explain the symptoms easily. -
Thanks for your replies I will try again to find those settings also the Formuler is never turned off always the white power light is on but my Formuler is connected firstly through a HDMI selector box then to the tv because o the many HDMI sources used ,ie Media player and dvd player etc,this may be where my problem lies

Temporarily remove the HDMI selector box from the device chain. Connect the Formuler directly to the TV and test again to isolate the issue.
