So, I managed to get my machine up and running, with the latest firmware.
Here's what I did, maybe it helps someone else who has problems?
* Got problems with screen go black in mol2. Checked with other devices and provider server status. It worked everywhere else and no downtime on servers, so... Tried to pull the plug for a while, no difference.
* Updated to latest firmware and latest mol2 to try and fix it. Didn't help, in fact, now i can't even log into the portal. Stayed at 10% when i tried...
* Did a factory reset thru the settings menu. When it came back on the screen the resolution was way off and the screen switched between showing and turning black every other second. Managed to update to latest firmware despite of this. When it restarted the machine was updated but the flickering was still there.
* Pulled the plug and let it be for the night. This morning it was even worse, couldn't get any picture at all. The z8 lamp switched between red and green every other minute or so...
* Ok, time for the big guns. Removed everything non-original like usb storage and another USB air mouse remote.
Changed hdmi- cable and switched hdmi-port on the tv. No change...
* Did a manual reset following this: https://support.formuler.tv/kb/article/61-…8-zalpha-z-neo/
* It came back, no flickering and resolution looked normal. Updated to latest everything. Mol2 got the latest 1.4.75. Went in there and made a new portal again.
Success! Everything is back as before, portal works..
I don't know if maybe the manual reset is cleaner than the menu settings one? Or if it was the hdmi-swap, but it seems unlikely since it's been working perfect before and shouldn't affect login to a portal...
Anyway, will add some apps and put back my storage and the other remote, set my ethernet back to static so we'll see, but so far it looks good....
Edit: just remembered that after my first menu factory reset my static ip info was still in there. There must definitely be a difference between the two types of resets? Everything should go back to factory settings but it didn't..
