    Thanks, box is on DHCP, router had been restarted.

    Yesterday switched back to Cloudflare and all was fine again, so you could be right about that. Will report back in case of new problems.

    my z11 pro was fine until update to 11.2.9
    Now the epg data shown for a channel is only good for 23 hours despite content refresh every day when pressing guide button and looking ahead or eventually it will say no information.
    However the epg data is good…

    Had same problem with a new box I set up for a friend.
    Had to do a manual factory reset. The pin code wouldn't work for the reset via menu.

    As I understand it, Kodi on this device only shows 1080p in the settings menu. When you select the 'technical information' from the main display when content is played it does in fact play at 3840x2160p for a 4k file, at least for me.

    With Player, he means install mx player or VLC App and use this as external app but that would affect only VOD and Series, your problem is something else.
