Unfortunately this is getting harder and harder.

I have my files in a NFS/SMB share. MX player can access it and apparently it should work.
But not, when it starts to play, runs for 1 second, I see the image and it stops. Then I have to kill the app.

The share in the list is located in /mnt/....

I tried read/decode with SW, HW and KW+

I'm running out of ideas.

And the worst is if I try in my phone, it works like a charm.

But in the Formuler box, this happens, even the look and feel of the app is different. The box is connected via LAN with a dedicated connection at 1GB.

Anyone has encountered this?

Does it read MKV 4K UHD files?

Hi,

I can play a tv show/movie via File Manager in a NFS mounted share. Even it displays subtitles correctly, as long as the srt file is in the directory.

My question is, if I play a file without the srt file, is it possible to search it online and do the download of the srt file?

Sort like KODI does when downloading a subtitle file.

If not, is there a workaround?
