Thank you for your suggestions. I did both and the Z8 Pro is now working with my 1080p TV. Problem is solved.

No, I can not get to the main menu. When I turn the Z8 Pro on, I see a logo (I think) flash and then there is a low resolution text screen that states that I need to connect to an HDCP 2.2 HDMI jack. At that point, nothing works except the power off button. It is as if the Z8 Pro is defaulted to a 4K HDCP 2.2 resolution, does not detect a compliant HDMI on power up, and will not allow any further action.

- What issue(s) are you having? I connected the Z8 Pro to a 1080p TV. The Z8 Pro boots when turned on and then displays message that I need to connect to an HDCP 2.2 HDMI jack. I found a troubleshooting procedure on the Forum for changing resolution, but it requires pressing a "resolution button". My remote does not have that button so I can't perform that procedure.
- What was you expecting to happen? Z8 would boot and open a home page on my 1080p TV.
- What happened instead? The above message is displayed and the Z8 Pro stops.
- How can we reproduce the issue you are having? Perhaps, but you would need a 1080p TV and the version of remote without a resolution button. The issue should occur as soon as you turn on the Z8 Pro
- What have you tried if anything to rectify the issue? Don't know what to try. I have searched the forum, but can find any info that matches my issue. I don't know anyone with a 4K HDCP 2.2 TV that I could use to access the Z8 Pro menu and change resolution.
