    General question to the group:

    Do you think we should use or need to use a VPN when we use MOL2 (or any other client for that matter) to watch IPTV? (I don’t think there needs to be any additional color around this question)

    Sorry, I edited the instructions in my original post to reflect the following:

    - Hold STB three seconds to change modes. Once you are in Orange mode the remote is in IR.

    - When in CHANGE VERSION on device setup in Harmony setup and it asks for the POWER signal to program the hub, use the POWER TOGGLE (top right). If you see the LED flash orange when you hit the button it is sending the IR signal.. If it’s flashing red or white - you didn’t set the BT-1 remote to IR mode.

    Sorry for the confusion.

  • How to setup GTV with Harmony Hub

    OK I have solved this!

    1) Change the mode of the BT remote to IR by holding down the STB button for 3 seconds. The first time you do it the LED on the remote will flash red. Do it again. The second time it will be Orange which means it is in IR mode - see instructions here:

    2) In Harmony Device setup, choose Manufacturer: FORMULER, Model: Z8

    3) It wont work yet. Final step. In device settings, choose CHANGE VERSION. It will ask if you have the remote. Click YES. Then it will direct you to press the POWER TOGGLE on the remote (use the POWERT TOGGLE button - Top Right) 3” away from the Hub. Once it accepts the signal, it activates the Harmony for the device and the Harmony remote will work perfectly!

    4) BONUS: In Harmony Device setup, add IR commands for the 2dot, 3dot, 4dot buttons at the bottom of the BT-1 remote.
