I have recently bought the Z8 Pro and I'm really enjoying the product. The IPTV app is brilliant and it seems to play any movie files I throw at it. However, there is a slight snag that I wanted to get some clarity on.
As of recently, the MyTVOnline2 app implements AFR so that the refresh rate of the TV will be changed to match the FPS of the stream (where applicable) and it works brilliantly. In Kodi, this unfortunately is not the case and the system settings (in Kodi) only reports a resolution 1920x1080 at 60hz, so as a result the AFR feature does not do anything. This means that I have to find out what the FPS of the video playing is, change it manually in the Android settings and then reopen Kodi, which can become tiresome.
I'm aware that this is a common issue with Android boxes in general but I was wondering whether this would be fixed in any future firmware updates. As it stands, only a few boxes support this feature in Kodi, such as the Nvidia Shield and I think it would be another great selling point for this box, if it were to be supported.
