I'm getting similar network errors despite clearly being connected either eith RG45 hard ethernet or wifi.

I had not used my Z11 pro max for a while and when i went on, it said subscription had expired. my other box, sub'ed the same still had a year left.

when I looked closely, the year the box seems to think it is is 2030.

I've unplugged for a couple days, multiple resets but nothing works. Any suggestions? The vendor Smartv4k isn't answering the email I did my etransfer thought.

UPDATE: I successfully shut off ExpressVPN application and all is right with the world. phew!

I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this but when I watch CNN 4K it is constantly (every few minutes) freezing with "an error occurred: PlayerStuckException"

This does NOT occur when watching the international version of CNN INTL 4k.

This is on my Z11pro MAX. I have two boxes, and this occurs on both.

Any idea what gives? Is it being blocked? Is this "just the way it is?"

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Well, my friend has an extra “fire” tablet. The remote app looks good but can’t click “ok” on the pairing response on the Z8.

Any suggestion?

Amazon has the Rii series, but won’t deliver until Sunday

We’re staying in ‘rural’ Massachusetts ie acton…. So I’m guessing I’m out of luck.

Perhaps I misstated my problem. I have the stock Z8 and forgot the remote. I don’t see a plain “Android TV” app on apple apps

One question…. Which remote is the one to use for the Z8 pro?

I doubt I’m the first / only person to misplace their Z8pro remote but hopefully, someone has sorted out the answer to the obvious question; can I make it work without the original remote?

Is anyone else having trouble, specifically with CNN NEWS 4K cc and other versions from North America ie CNN FHD cc and even CNN.

CNN UK and international seem to work just fine.

I wondered the same thing. I followed a suggestion to look in VOD for some 4K content.

Interestingly, not all shows labeled 4K are .. but the ones that are, will give you a choice as to what format you want to use. HD or 4K

The other way I can tell is by seeing an absolutely spectacular picture that is in a letter box format. I was blown away!

I updated to 10.10.30 HOTFIX but still have audio sync problem on CNN

Is this a problem with CNN?

Anyone else having this problem?

Just figured out how to update to .35 beta HOTFIX

This seems to be a particular stream issue.

moving from CNN FHD to international and there is total sync.

Now, if only I could get the vpn to work - formuler just doesn't connect - fails to recognize the net connection... very frustrating

I'm doing the system reset.... hope I don't lose too much that I can't replace

Tried the power off approach but no luck. Very annoying. Pretty much makes IPTV useless at this point

This is really getting to be a problem - tried the beta firmware update. powered it off. waited a couple minutes.

That advice was very useful... sadly, myZ10 still has audio sync problems and Hustle 4K seems to be in 1920*1080 I guess there is no truth in advertising

That being said... I just found the VOD that actually has some 4K (ie the Bourne Identity) and the results are SPECTACULAR

same here.... tried multiple servers.... it's either a problem with the stream over multiple provider (i have a residual service still in place) or it's a z10 issue. I notice it on multiple changes... even if I change servers and reset machine

Yes, youtube works fine and no, there should be no problems with vpn

when I close down Mytvonline 2, and move on the the vpn application, I open it and pick a server and activate the server.

Then, I move back to MYTO2 and it tries to connect... still get the code 7-400

This is very frustrating

I'm trying with the app that is actually installed by default but have had no success.

Reading your posts, I wonder if the VPN connection must occur before any server connection.

IS that correct?

This would be a great thing IF the vpn app that is actually resident on my Z10 an Z8 boxes worked.

I keep getting "please check your internet connection(1)" regardless of what protocol I'm using.

Any suggestions?

I'm noticing that the IPTV world seems to be under attack so thought maybe time to get a vpn.

Seeing that Formuler has their app already installed on the apps strip, I gave them a try.

I can not connect to my portal using any of the settings that their tech support has offered.

The particular Error Code:7 and Code 7-400 I've tried using the default "auto" protocol an ever openVPN UDP and Lightwire? UDP?

No trouble when the vpn is off.... no connection with the VPN active.

Any ideas?

just a practical question, for those who have the Z10 and started with the Z8 pro.... is there a significant difference? I thought (but am not certain) that one difference is in the audio codecs available.

(I'm on Sony PIX HD Channel and watching Inception. in the right hand bottom of the screen, it says "TATA|Sky and 0268fDB5 (which comes and goes... I briefly saw on the left bottom side, 000-686-0242-0. Interesting but still getting these damn subtitles - it seems only on this channel. )

I can't even get the device to connect to an open wireless router. keeps saying "Can't connect"

No trouble with an Ethernet connection.

I'm brand new to this forum and to IPTV.

What I searched for, but couldn't find is any comment on read/write speeds for thumb drives or SD cards on the USB 3 port.

Is there a limit to capacity? IS there any advantage to use highest speed cards available?
