I bought it on ebay, from a seller that probably knew he shouldnt have it...
And I made it work by manually delete cache and such. And now lately since right before the two latest updates for it, it just forces the device into factory reset.
Its sad that the formuler z10 se is annoying enough with its bugs to throw it in the bin...

This Formuler Z10 SE has been a problem since the beginning.
Now for the third time it suddenly boots into Android Recovery and then I have to factory reset it.
The settings takes weeks to get back by doing manually....
Can I have Formuler send me another functional device? I have spent sooo much time getting my settings back everytime this happens......
I really hope they give me Formuler Z mini as a compensate.

You can download an app called Memory Cleaner and clean up cache once in a while.Mine is still going strong! Its a great device, just wish it had 8gb flash instead of 4

Why is it not possible to choose sound source? At least I cant find it.
I want to use stereo jack output on the Formuler Z11 but the only setting is to switch on and off surround sound.

Somehow I kinda like MyTVOnline 2.. I vote for looking to bring more from the older interface.
Having an "all" category of vods that combines all categories i.e.
+ more...Im using z11 pro max at home and have a z10 se that i bring with me wherever I go.
And I kinda like the mytvonline 2 on z10 se better in some ways... -
Right. Been stress testing the z10 se for a few days now. At least mytvonline2, stremio, youtube, spotify, moonlight and a few vpn apps seems to be okay. Had to remove Kodi because of disk space. Playing local files is not so good on it then. But still, has functionality
4gb space is a bit cheap though! could as well double the space on the same price... hehe -
1. Switch off timer - 300 minutes. (To substitute for the eco settings on tv with HDMI CEC.)
2. Screensaver shouldnt activate when playing music/spotify. (using this as a workaround for switch off timer atm. As turn screen off)
3. Google Home compatibility (turn off philips hue when movie starts and on when movie ends)...
4. Settings for record... start before the program and at end of program due to EPG margins...

One more thing, is my philips tv has a switch off timer. Its a good thing so the tv doesnt stay running if you forget to turn it off before leaving house e.g...
Im using the HDMI CEC so that the tv switches on/off with the z11... I miss a switch off timer on the z11! I would love to set it to 300mins...

It would be great with tcp/ip stack access on a device like this. aswell as ssh shell. with root.
Like you say its probably better to set up something linux, but it will not really be the same.
Andoird is a sandboxed linux btw like busybox and such. Meaning either ssh file management in an eventual connected external disk.
Havent experienced that much yet...
