Thankyou for your reply Sam. I actually had the problem before VPN. I purchased the VPN on advice from my family member who has formuler boxes. He has Z10s. His work ok. It happens alot during a sporting event, ie, hockey game. I've read other people's posts saying they're having similar issues with the Z11 pro max with the mytvonline 3 app only. I'm hoping they'll be a fix in an update.
I have had no single problem here: all live events like football are fine. Even an 8k stream is very okay.

Sounds like a software hickup, not hardware. Have you tried another software player yet?
Or may be is there a difference in (sticky) framerate?
I had a time difference in audio and video too. When I changed the framerate to 23.96 or 24 by hand instead of 60 it was gone (mkv, h.264). An automatic framerate will be nice in a player.
I still keep my old Himedia Q10 pro for movies from my NAS, just for certainty.
