Hi, Stupid question but have you tried to fully restart the device by pulling power? I have 3 Z11's and one Z12 and I noticed from time to time, catchup works on one and not the other. When I did a hard restart and updated EPG, it works... Go Figure! My Z12 thus far has been working perfectly with MOL4 as it relates to Catchup.
Not stupid at all! I’ve left the box unplugged for 3hours and attempt again. It fails right away.
Do we have a general "bug" page post thread for MOL4? I've found a bug where catchup doesn't work with my portal only using MOL4 and can confirm its functional on all other devices including mobile app with same settings that have been exported for the box.
Unfortunately this didn't work for me, tried it on different brands of usb but time shift won't work on external drives for me but recording is fine.
Did you attempt to format a usb with the utility I’ve linked? All my stubborn usbs worked once I ensure no stubborn partition tables were present especially if it was once formatted for NTFS and had a UEFI loader on it.
I have sometimes when i leave tv on and push record myself it goes good.
Sometimes i program a recording a 17.30 hours. I leave bix on that channel but tv off.
I come back to watch. 4 minutes or 10 minutes recorded from the 60.
Sometimes it's recorded. I still play with it.

No zapping and recording logonisnin corner and it's half recorded. Yes I record already from first formuler since 2014 or so. Alway on usb3.
Will test it tonight again.

Issue isn't with recording but it was with local timeshift on a channel that wasn't working. I can get all the sticks to work on recording but couldn't get timeshift to use the external media. I've got it working now and letting everyone know to try formatting the media to FAT32 and give it a go. If you're trying to format a USB thats bigger than 16GB to Fat32. You'll need to download the free HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool.
Update: I got the USB's to work but they need to be formatted via FAT32 and NOT NTFS for MYTVOnline use it for Timeshift.
Same issue as others. Can't get timeshift to work on external media and I've tried 3 different brands of USBs and sizes.
Patriot and Sandisk both can record but can't accept timeshift.
I've been trying to track down this audio issue for awhile and have narrowed it down to this setting. I'm not using time shift and watching the channel live, after ~2-3mins it will stutter and then a massive 2-3 second audio delay will be persistent. I've tried other apps on the Z12 Ultra and they worked fine on that same channel which I can replicate! If I turn off time shift, the channel doesn't have any issues and no audio delays at all.
Setup:
-Z12 Ultra
-Sonos Arc (Setup via e-ARC)
-Sony X90L tv with passthru enabled
I can reproduce this issue on this specific playlist if the devs need logs to generate a bug report.

So nothing is “cached” on the debrid or torbox services. You’ll need to wait until it’s on their server before it can stream smooth.
In stremio I can watch a programme with a small file size, say 180mb and it jumps and stutters all the way through.
I use Debrid service so there are very short if any loading times, it just won't play certain files where Nvidi shield will.
I then tried a 4k HDR movie at 19gb and it loaded and played fine
Do you use a VPN on the box? I do the same as you and have no issues with large movies streaming via streamio.. You can DM what you're trying and I can test.
Any developments on audio going out of sync with streams in MOL3? If I change the channel and go back it will be fine then goes out of sync once commercials come on. I am using a Sonos soundbar and have surround turned off. I did try legacy pass through as I wanted to preserve my Atmos sound profile while watching movies. This set to “none” stops that capability but funny enough the streams don’t go out of sync. I would hate to have to remember an turn this on every time I want watch a movie with streamio.
F_Peter would it be possible to modify the audio settings in MOL3 to just use PCM and then the z12 box set to auto detect for other app like streamio?
I just picked up a z12 ultra and loving it but ran in to one snag. On MOL3 my surround speakers (Sonos) aren’t working. If I turn off surround sound it works but I’m stuck in PCM and my atmos no longer works via streamio. Any hidden settings to make that selective without manual intervention every time?
I understand that this would take away from the boxes but would generate a new source of income with limited capabilities and provide the consumer more options. No harm with choices and some folks like myself have multiple platforms and tend to gravitate to an easy to use ecosystem. I’m great with complex setups and programming things but other folks that attempt to use my setup hate it. If this formular box had Dolby vision and atmos followed by being a certified Netflix device. This would be no brainer shield destroyer.
The app is amazing and thank you sooo much for showing the Apple love. Any chance you’ll make a TVos version of this app? I would pay good money for a lifetime membership and or a solid month to month if this is in the cards.
