Have you closed all background apps?
Do you regularly/have you ever cleared the cache on the device?
How long does the box stay on idle? Do you always shut it off when not in use?
My best guess is that you have never cleared the Cache and it is causing the processor to sift through endless amounts of now defunct data. Try clearing the cache and doing a reset of the box.
Option to add a hotkey that goes directly to Content sources page for all of us MAC id portals. Would save so much time and be simpler for less tech savvy users
- It is possible that VLC player has a more efficient decoding algorithm
- Do you have an adaptive bitrate addon for VLC? MOL3 uses direct streaming and offers "long buffering" as a playback option to compensate.
- Do you have AFR applied in playback settings to match framerate of the content by default?
- Are you using AISR to auto upscale? This may be affecting playback
- When is the last time you cleared the cache for MOL3?

Is this exclusive to Live TV, or will VOD and TV series have the same functionality? I know we can achieve somewhat similar results with pinned groups, but it would still be very convenient to adjust the unpinned groups without having to pin every single group and reorder them
Gameday gives me a black screen,will try again later,if it remains i will have to reinstall mol3 from Market.
This is not exclusive to beta, myself and several others have been having this problem with GD as well on the primary firmware
It does not benefit Formuler for their representatives to teach users how to default use unaffiliated products instead of their own.
It is also a very small community of people using these devices, many of whom are using provider configured boxes and are locked out of many features anyway. Sort of what I like about it, still lots to learn and discover to optimize the device, especially to overcome certain limitations the Formuler developers have either neglected, or haven’t changed since receiving feedback.

I gave myself 2 months to play with it and take notes before sharing lol. While long, I do believe that all the items I listed have real merit though, wouldn't you agree?
I am unable to get the voice commands to work using the GTV-BT1 remote. The Formuler firmware version is current.

Have you already programmed IR remote to your TV via "Setup TV IR Control" in the Formuler Remote App?
Are you to initialize the microphone via clicking the Google Voice button on the remote? Or by selecting the microphone on the onscreen keyboard when initializing a search?
What Voice command are were you trying to execute?
How long have your box and remote been activated? Are these brand new?
Yes , you are right. The constant content changes can also produce issues. Big players do it in the time when all people sleep.
There is already scheduled automatic timer that can be set in Content Manager to do it automatically, but only one time per day. If provider change it per day very often, then you have to use manually refresher.
Thank you for the response Sam, that is what I was afraid you would tell me. I believe that my provider utilizes AI for the importing of content, so it is largely automated. I am just one of many subs, but perhaps I could help them to understand the frustration and see about a once a day import. This is the only OTT/IPTV device I have ever used, so I am not certain if the user experience would be the same on another device or not.
I don't imagine MOL3 could even be coded to receive and delay all new updates until the scheduled refresh in order to prevent this. So many things I wish I could control 
.
When I first became involved in this device, I didn't realize how NEW MOL3, Z Mini, etc was still. I know it will take time. I wrote a very long and detailed list in the Z11/Mini MOL3 suggestion thread, if you can get through all of it, I'd love to hear your opinions.

I am sure this is because my provider is sending new things to the portal numerous times throughout the day, but it is incredibly annoying.
MOL3 VOD playback is always very smooth for me, so I know that as soon as my stream begins to experience significant stuttering/buffering that I have to exit playback and go click the red refresh contents button, then return to content and playback is perfect again.
We have the ability to schedule the auto-refresh already. having to do so all through the day to maintain smooth playback completely defeats the purpose of the auto-refresh schedule.
Is is possible to disable/request this process, and refresh everything all at once at the scheduled automatic time?
- HOTKEY PORTALS FOR SEAMLESS SWITCHING. The ability to hotkey directly to Content Sources for fast and easy portal switching. Because I have 2 Stalker portals added by the same Provider, I can only have one active at a time and can't take advantage of MOL3's new feature of running them both actively. It is very tedious and many button clicks to swap back and forth, and can be confusing more many older, or less tech savvy individuals.
- Option to remove Live, VOD, or Tv Series buttons from menu on respective portals. I have 2 separate portals from the same Provider, one for Live TV, and one for VOD/Series, both Stalker protocol. Interestingly, if I hide all the 24/7 groups included on the Live TV section of the VOD portal, the play screen will default to an all black screen with the side menu always open, and Live TV button has been automatically removed. However, the Live TV portal has no VOD or TV Series groups, yet both options still exist on the side menu when in the Live TV Portal. Being able to remove those two options manually will reduce a lot of confusion for people like my 74 year old father about what portal he is in and what is available.
- VERY POWERFUL FEATURE "Similar to" option that can be selected when previewing a Movie/Show Title. Example, you are clicking through your history, and find a movie you enjoyed, being able to click that title, and then select "Similar Movies" from the preview menu.
- Option to re-order the MOL3 menu list
- Move the universal search button in VOD/TV series from the top right corner inside a group to the top of the sidebar outside of groups, above favorites/newly added/history
- Create multiple Favorites lists for VOD/TV Series in Content Manager. I have a ton of Series in my favorites, being able to separate them by genre/type would be incredibly useful
- Option to sort favorites, so we can move most viewed/liked to the front of the list manually
- Delete all, or group delete history. Anything so that we don't have to delete them one at a time.
- Auto hide groups that have nothing in them
- Filter options for favorites folder(s)
- Predictive real time search results, eliminating the need to type out entire titles
- Search VOD/TV Series by actor
- Showing Favorites lists on the home screen for Live, VOD, and TV series even if they are split between two Stalker Portals. As of now it will only show the one that corresponds with whichever portal i was connected to when I exited to the main menu
- Option to schedule routine clearing the cache same as content refresh/hotkey clear cache
Hopefully someone with more experience than us can respond, as I was just playing with this and also couldn't find a solution.
I would also like to know if there is a way to create multiple favorites lists for TV Series and VOD the same way we can for Live TV. I have a lot of TV Series in my favorites, so many that it is cumbersome. If I was able to create multiple Favorites lists so that I could organize them by type/genre, it would be much simpler. Because we can't edit or create groups, this would be a very helpful functionality.
I also agree with you, that once a user favorite list has been created, having the same filtering options all of the other groups have would be nice.
As of present the only real workaround I have found is if there are several shows that you always choose first, you can enter your favorites list, select a Series, unlick and re-click the star, and it will move that show to the front of the list. So you can at least do that with your 3-5 most preferred shows for now to have them most accessible

Don't know if this thread is still active but I have a request.
Some way to lock or hide portal information so users can't alter or delete or even be able to view portal URL would be great. From a security point of view. Maybe some kind of administrator option where I can hide such information when I want on certain boxes.
Perhaps a panel where portal can be set by using a setup code like some other apps can be done. Without having to give out "sensitive" information.
This would be a great addition.
I second this. Others that have replied may or may not understand exactly what is being requested here but.
If users have a provider box, and the provider offers 2 or more portals to choose from (one for live tv and one for VOD for example). If the portals are created via MAC ID, users already have to navigate to content sources in order to change portals for their preferred use. On this screen, there is a significant amount of Portal details and information readily available. Even if some of this information is censored, from a security perspective, as well as a user experience/brand image perspective, it would be beneficial to be able to hide the information on this screen in favor of a wallpaper, or a different design for portal selection, more similar to what it would look like to select an app or similar.

Option to delete Entire watch history on both VOD and TV Series. Just put a trash can there please. It is so incredibly annoying to have to delete 150 titles one at a time
Bump for visibility. My Provider also uses a custom configuration. I'm sure that there are certain options they remove purposefully, such as the ability to add more portals, edit groups, etc. But No Service Provider would intentionally remove back up and restore. In the event of a system failure that requires a factory reset, or to delete and reinstall MOL3, this would be a very easy way for the provider to have a very upset customer.
I think it would be very beneficial if the system could provide a list of live stats during games in progress.
When selecting a network to watch a game, the game will load into the preview window, and the rest of the screen will display a very rudimentary overview of the game (time left, score)
With the proliferation of sports gambling, the ability to have the live stats of the players displayed in tandem with the game itself, would be an absolute game changing aspect of the service.
It would also be absolutely incredible to be able to customize the stat view, so as to select specific players (from both teams) and and assign specific stats of those players for view, either individually, or as a group. Essentially, allowing the viewer to customize the stat panel to allow him to keep an eye on the specific things that matter to him in regards to his sports bet(s) while watching the game.
It would require a change to that specific screen though, as the preview window is currently miniscule in relation to the information about the game being displayed. closer to half of the screen displaying the game and half of the screen displaying the customized stats window I think would be ideal.
If this functionality or something approximating it already exists within the Z Minim I haven't been able to find it, and I have done a lot of trying
