Does anyone have the pin info for this connector, I assume it uses a 3.5mm stereo jack, but I dont want to just hook up the Tip, ring or grnd randomly in case I damage the box.
Thanks

Vpn starts automatic up and choose the country what you setup.
If you go to usa as example, you should already in europe setup the vpn, that it makes automatic connection to usa.
So if you start box in usa is, it has within 10 seconds connection with usa.
You mean the box shutdown already before that? If yes, that would be bad!
Please in that case and fix in newer boxes to demolish that geo location please!
A VPN is a great idea for some services but for IPTV it can cause issues, I believe the geo lockout is a good idea to protect the distribution network, its just a shame that it had to be created due to a very few online sellers who are happy to under cut the regional distributers. There will be very few situations that this geo lock will effect customers who are not doing anything wrong. The better option for using a VPN it to set it up in the router not on the IPTV box, that way the box will only ever be behind the VPN, an onboard VPN can stop, crash and they only kicj in when you start them which is after the box has powered up and it may have already checked in by then.

For sure it is not the IPTV server (its ours so I know that for sure) I dont think it is the reseller (distributer) I think it will be the manufacturer and it is put in place when the distributer places a stock order to protect against "grey imports" and also to protect against the online sellers.
I thin it has to be released by the manufacturers, I understand the need for it but for every rule there will always be an exception.
The boxes were set up and used for sometime in the EU without a VPN and then moved and thats what triggered the lock out, also using a VPN is a good short term idea but not long term and also once the box gets locked it powers off so a VPN will not work in that case.

I have clients with these boxes who travel, just went on holiday and they are getting this error, they are based in the EU but wanted to use the box in other parts of the world when they are there, but, they get this message and the box powers off.
Any ideas how to resolve this?
I totally understand why and the need to do this type of protection for the distributers but there must be a way to resolve this when it can be shown that it is not 1 distributer selling into the area of another.
