Subject: VOD “TV Series” Fails to Load on Z10 and Z11 Pro Units — Issue Began Two Weeks Ago
I’m reaching out to report a persistent issue affecting a large number of Formuler Z10 and Z11 Pro units — specifically related to the VOD “TV Series” section.
For over a year, these devices have performed flawlessly with our IPTV setup. However, starting approximately two weeks ago, all affected units began failing to load TV series content. The error typically presents as “Failed to load VOD data,” while live TV and other VOD content (such as movies) continue to work without issue.
This issue is widespread across dozens of devices, and no changes have been made on our end. The IPTV provider insists the problem is on our side, but given the timing and scale of the failure, I suspect it may be related to a recent firmware or MyTVOnline update, or a compatibility issue with how VOD metadata is being parsed.
I would appreciate any guidance or insight from the Formuler team or community. Has anyone else experienced this issue recently? Are there known fixes or workarounds — such as switching to M3U playlist mode — that have proven effective?
