The “An error occurred: -1” issue got resolved finally. I figured it out why the app has been working on some iOS devices I had while not on others. It’s to do with iCloud private relay. I have a paid subscription of iCloud so also have private relay enabled. The devices on which this app was working had private relay disabled. Turn that off and it will work on all iOS devices. Hope this helps the broader community
Does this mean I should have it enabled or disabled? Also can I do this from my phones settings or do I need to take another step? This didn’t resolve my issue for VOD playback error.
