Thank yo7. We were told VPN WAS BAD FOR MYTVONLINE but will give it a go. We have vpn on ipads which is necessary here in Portugal for various bbc or sports programmes

You should do a trial with VPN.
I used to have a provider that could only stream major sports events to Spain,Portugal etc when vpn was in use,apparently these broadcasts were jammed by original broadcaster like e.g. Sky,TNT etc

I have a big issue with Z11 and Z8. In uk we have no problem. however in Portugal complete buffering on all channels when live sport is shown. I have fast fibre internet, good hdmi cable, clear and update but as soon as any sport is shown, even if wanting to watch a cookery programne for example, all channels are severely buffering u til half time, when problem stops but restarts on commencement of second half! This is same for all big sports coverage, cricket, golf, rugby etc. we have had fibre line replaced, super fast, our neighbours along tge road have same set up via same internet provider but with different uk people. Our son has same as us, he br8ngs his z11 box out. No buffering at all. Have had technicians in, they say not internet provider. Have we set up our boxes in uk incorrectly, we only use one z11 or Z8, not both ar the same time. No VPN. SPEED IS 75 download,b100 upload, ping 7.
