I was fiddling with your instructions time and again but it would not work. In the end I deinstalled all Amazon Apps (before deinstalling cleared cache and data of Amazon apps). Then I installed the Amazon Video APK from your ZIP file (amazon_vod.apk) and now IT WORKS!!!
So you magically did what Formuler could'nt, thank you very much for this!

@ians325 the first link does not work.
I found the apk and installed it. Problem is I can't play a movie from the launcher.
Please describe what you are doing in more detail.
