I am having the exact same thing. Both devices. Just tried to factory reset and set things up again.

I was able to watch 1-2 minutes of live TV and then MyTV crashes and goes back to the Z11 home screen.

Internet is provided by Elon.

IPVanish was my VPN doesn't seem to make a difference.

This issue has really started after the new update.

MyTVOnline app on my ipad works great on the same interent connection

What exactly do you mean by "use a proper provider".

Why would the MyTv app on both my z11Pro continuously need to be tweaked and played with to have it show live TV for 5 minutes, stall out (buffer), maybe keep playing or just decide to show a black screen. Internet connection is fine (+200mbs), box will do anything else online, just not have any kind of connection for the MyTV app.

I have cleared the cache, unplugged the z11, reset the router, set the DNS to Quad9. This is after reseting the entire box and starting from scratch. I just want to watch live TV with some kind of reliable service.
