I have the same issue and have tried this method many times there is no response to an RC command the red light just stays red

I have a Z8 that is stuck on permanent red light .. I have tried recorery_facint and update ird but it satys the same on change on red light... its like it's stuck in stand by or power off...any ideas

Here´s a weird one we have 1 iptv provider 1 using Stalker,.. in all the Z series the catch up FF and REW work fine however on the Z7+ it doesn´t, i.e. as soon as a catch up file is opened the playback blue bar shoots right to the end of the file and if REW is selected the blue bar shoots right to the beginning ? Anyone has any ideas about this?

AV out is AV out not Audio out you can try gently pulling back the lead it might clear the noise but you will have to be very gentle otherwise optical out to a converter if your eqp doesn´t have opt in
