I had 2 IPTV providers and for the time on the guide to be correct, in MOL, 1 required EPG Mode be set to UTC while the other required it be set to Normal.

I'm guessing it's the classic case of 'storage' vs 'useable storage'. I'm guessing ~3GB of the 8GB is for Operating System-level stuff. Thus you're left with 5GB of useable storage when you power on the box for the first time. And even pre-installed apps such as MYTVONLINE, Youtube, etc will eat into the 5GB.
While this may be the case I'm wonder if another member of this forum, that has a Z7+, can confirm that their "Internal shared storage" indicates more than 1/3 less internal storage than the box specifications indicate when they go into settings/android/storage?
-
Why does my Z7+ indicate 5.02 GB of internal storage? When I go to settings/android/storage I see 1.11GB Used of 5.02 GB. Shouldn't internal storage be 8 GB?

Catchup has nothing to do with external storage. Catchup is when your iptc provider continuously records a channel on their side, allowing you to go back on time and watch content without YOU needing to record anything.
Timeshifting, i.e. pressing pause and coming back 20mins later where you left off, or rewinding live TV, this is what requires an external recording storage device.
This appears to be correct. Thanks for the clarification.

Do you have a Micro SD card or USB drive plugged in? I may be wrong but I thought that to use catchup an external storage device was required.

I have a 64 GB Sandisk Micor SD card. All though nothing was/is recorded or, to my knowledge, stored on the card it showed 29 GB used. I reviewed the card contents using various apps, File Explorer, Total Commander, and ESFile Explorer, but could find nothing that would come close to taking up that amount of space. I removed and reformatted the card and it now shows 307 MB used however the internal storage now shows as 5 GB total. Shouldn't the internal be 8 GB? I had assumed that an app was using space on the card that I was unaware of and it was hidden. Now I'm just confused.

Z7+ works very well with my Logitech Harmony 650. I also have the M3 2.4G Wireless Remote Control Keyboard Air Mouse and the only issue I have is there isn't a guide button to bring up the MyTvOnline EPG grid. If using the M3 I have to use the classic guide to navigate channels and channel groups.

I have the same issue on my *****sub. So far, in an attempt to solve the issue, I've uninstalled and reinstalled MYTVONLINE, uninstalled the SW update, done a factory reset under settings, and tried the M3U setup. Nothing has fixed the issue. All channels, in the EPG, display "No Information".
Edit: Problem solved. There appears to be a *****portal change required. User lillypad_33

I purchased my Z7+ in Mar, I previously had a T1+, and I am very satisfied.
Update: I'm not so impressed anymore. The guide is not working for any channels on my Vaders sub.

Edit: Happy again. Vaders portal change, after the update, solved the issue.

I would like to pass along my thanks for the hard work. The update looks great!

Works very well. I upgraded from a T1+ for the newer Android version and the additional RAM. I am very pleased with the Z7+.
Edit: I've come back here to update my post. After the latest update, today Tuesday April 24 2018, my Z7+ is working perfectly. I'm really impressed, so far, since the update.
Edit: The MOL guide no longer works for any channels on my Vaders sub. I'm not so impressed anymore.
Edit: EPG working again. I'm happy, and impressed, once again.

I used Rufus 2.18 in Windows 10 to format a 64 GB Sandisk micro sd card. Worked very well.

I have the problem with the remind feature on my Z7+ as well in MyTVOnline. The green button to set a reminder does nothing. If I use the PerfectPlayer app, with the same IPTV provider, I can set a reminder and the reminder does work. I'm not sure why this thread is marked as "solved". It isn't solved.
