  • Z8 boot issue

    I sold a customer 2 - Z8's 6 months ago and now both boxes fail to boot according to customer all he gets is a flashing red light. I find it odd that both boxes have same issue at same time, He is shipping them back to me and I will have a look at what needs to be done but would like some help on this issue from admins..:thinking_face:

  • MOL1 stop to work

    I have rebooted, factory reset this customers box twice with same result MYTVOnline craps out about 30 seconds after starting. Right now she is using TiviMate to access her IPTV since MYTVOnline app is un-useable..and this app is fine works great but wish the Formuler team would find a fix as to why the app crashes right after start.. Maybe if she would give me her box I can send logs to devs to look see whats up

  • MOL2 simultaneoulsy

    With Mac Address you will need a sub for each box with Streaming line some servers allow 1-4 connections using Username /Password for same price and some may charge an extra $5 per connection. If they only allow 1 connection you can still have that server on both boxes but you will only be able to watch one at a time while being logged in.. hope that helps

    Hi all I'm wondering is the recording option like a PVR on cable boxes? when you schedule a recording of a series will it record say 5 weeks of episodes if left on standby or can you record all episodes?:thinking_face:

  • Z Alpha - needs better remote

    I can understand bringing in a cheaper version box with MOL2 but ,sure less ram, less 1 USB, but by having a cheaper remote , feels like a cheap Chinese android box remote not the same feel as the Z8 and Z7 remotes awesome remote why did you not keep same remote for Alpha Model?

  • Nord Vpn. not working anymore

    I have had no issues with using the Nord VPN app since I purchased the box but after last update my Nord will not connect . I have deleted the cache in app ,logged out then back in still does not connect. Z8 is using ethernet. I have even uninstalled and reinstalled app same issue anyone else having g this issue with their Nord App?

    Have also put in a ticket with Nord as well:question_mark:

  • PVR Recording

    OK I am trying recording some shows and it seems to work so far shows are being recorded and I can play them back. I have 2 questions for the group what is the maximum usb thumb drive size is 128 gig ok can I use one that size? and secondly if I record shows a week in advance will they record while in sleep mode?

    Any other info would be appreciated greatly thanks:smiling_face:

  • W2 & W3 wifi antenna's can not be found???

    I have 3 formuler Z7+'s and all 3 have issues with the W2 wifi antenna that came with the boxes and the W3 antennas which I purchased. They are so flaky after latest update all 3 W3 antenna's can not be found just wondering if the Tenda U12 ac1300 stays connected?

    I have also reset to factory specs still no wifi Pieces of crap they are.........

  • Very slow ethernet connection

    Mevi is right changing to static ip will help but max you will get is 95mbps due to the ethernet limits of 100mbps they cheaped out. If they had a giga bit ethernet you would get whatever your ISP can dish you up to 1000mbps

    W3 antenna will get you about 200-400 mbps down

    Well I will tell you why the ethernet on this box is only 100mbps and with wifi W2 antenna you will get over 100mbps and with W3 antenna I'm getting 185mbps thats why.. if they had a giga port ethernet i would then hook up that way but they cheap out

    I got the W3 antennas and connected they show a link speed of almost 900mbps but doing a speed test I only get 125mbps and with the vpn on I get 65mbps

    It is sad that these boxes can not take full advantage of speeds we are paying for in my case 250mbps.. Closest box I found that actually gets over 200mbps is the S12 Pro Android box wish i could get formuler software on it...

  • MYTVOnline - pin code

    Here is what I found on this issue with my Z7+ I cleared data & cache on MYTVOline reset the pin from 0000 to 1234 then back to 0000 every thing working oK to this point , then re-input port info load portal guess what the reset pin of 0000 fails to work again this is a sever flaw in the app itself I think which needs to be addressed. I even deleted the app and reinstalled same crap only way to use the xxx channels is to use app STBEmu Pro load the portal on that then 0000 works...... too Bad the Z7+ has so much potential yet fails in so many little ways it is sad :frowning_face::frowning_face:

  • No internet Connection when using vpn on router

    I Have a Sabai netgear 3200Ac vpn router which can give me wifi speeds of 200 mbps over wifi and 95 mbps with vpn on

    My issue is when i have my formuler z7's selected to use vpn the boxes give me an ip address both wifi & ethernet yet says not internet connection and using the Nord vpn app on the box is way too slow 15-20 mbps any ideas:thinking_face:

  • Formuler Z7 Plus

    I am now almost 100% pleased with my 3 x Z7+'s with the 1200mbps antennas they rock my next purchase will be USB TV Tuner if they will work in North America. On terrestrial tv antenna I have now I get 50 channels in the Toronto area, wondering if I purchase USB -TV stick it will work in North America?

    Any others here have any info you can add to help me make a decision?:smiling_face:

    Because I use vpn on a 100mb/s box i get 24mb/s but with a giga bite I can get 65-85mb/s on vpn

  • MBPS where did they GO???

    I have ISP service of 250 MBPS down and from my macmini a speed test will give me 240 mbps not bad right, here is my question my Formuler7Z+ is hard wired i do a speed test there and I get only 75mbps but if I take the same ethernet and plug it into my macbook pro my speed is 240mbps. ?? What is causing this loss of mbps same thing on an android box, is android hardware incapable of delivering high speeds seems there is a limitation of 100mbps is it their network chip? heck my AC wifi delivers faster speeds 165mbps... Anybody got any thoughts on this:thinking_face:

  • Z+ Wifi

    I purchased 2 formuler Z7+ and think they are great except for the WIFI Adapter that came with them they fail to connect to either of my 2x 5g wifi channels always says connection failed but ever once in a while they connect but never stay connected...
    Any help would be appreciated.. My router is a netgear AC3200 . I have no other issues with any other device connecting???? :loudly_crying_face:
