Hi I have similar problem with my Z7+ box. My internet max download speed is around 44Mbps. I have tested my internet with Laptop (Wifi+Ethernet) and Desktop computer (Wifi+Ethernet), both devices give me speed above 40Mbps on both Wifi and Ethernet. My Z7+ box gives me good speed on Wifi i.e. above 40Mbps but low speed on Ethernet (around 27Mbps). I have done several tests and it never goes above 29Mbps on Ethernet whereas on WiFi it is above 40Mbps most of the time. Any idea why this could be happening? Thanks

@ SAM thanks for that. Formuler Z7+ is the first android tv box where I have come across this issue as it is even possible to expand in cheaper models. Or may be I do not know how to do it in Z7+. I want to do something similar to the link below. Thanks

In my box I had around 4GB spare internal capacity when I first turned it on. For me I downloaded games and other applications. Because of this internal storage was full.
@SAM does this mean that there is no way to install applications on SD card (like Nvidia Shield internal storage can be expanded by using USB for app installation)? Thanks

@SAM Can you please confirm if it is possible to use mini SD card to expand internal storage? By expanding internal storage means i want to install applications. I do not have issue with recording as I can do that on USB.
I used mini SD card and set it as default storage but still applications were not installed on this and internal storage was full.
Also is there any recommendation for mini SD card brand, speed etc and what is max size supported?

Hi thanks for your reply. For me I have done the same and set card as default storage but when I download big applications like games my internal storage is showing full i.e. 8GB. Once it is full it is not letting me to install any more applications whereas SD card is still 70% empty. I never had any issue with recording, I can record on both SD Card and USB 3.0. Can you please try this if possible? Download/install few large applications and check internal storage status. If MicroSD card is set as internal storage then you will be able to install several applications (more than 8GB)
If the above works, can you record programs on external USB even when Micro SD card is set as internal storage

I have a MicroSD card in mine and bought it for the purpose of allowing it to be used as internal memory by the android system.
Also you can record to the MicroSD even when being used as internal storage by android as i have done several times although i do now record to HDD instead to not wear down the MicroSD card with to many read and writes.
I tried micro SD card to install applications but I was not able to and internal storage was showing full after installing few apps. Are you directly installing on SD Card or moving applications to SD card after installing on internal storage? I don't know why Z7+ does not allow to use external storage as internal storage like other boxes Nvidia shield, Xiaomi etc. Thanks
