Maby you need to swtich the hdmi arc on or so and then in works.
Ok I checked soundbar and av section in the remote app and now it shows Panasonic. It changed volume on the second code it tried.
So now that is set to my soundbar and volume keys on side work with volume up and down.
But still no sound
How many hdmi ports do you have on your soundbar?
Is it in the right hdmi port? Some soundbars have 1 hdmi out (tv) and 0 or 4 hdmi in ports. (devices)
You should use hdmi out (arc)
Which soundbar you have name and type.
It must work normally on both hdmi arc. Are you sure you have a hdmi (e)arc on your tv and your soundbar?
Display MoreHello again. So I’ve connected my soundbar to my tv via hdmi cable.
The formuler remote works as it controls the soundbar volume and and pressing the left button turns off off tv but doesn’t turn off the soundbar.
The issue I now have is that I do not have any sound coming out of the soundbar. Checked all my settings within my tv and it looks good to me. Also checked sound settings in the formuler box and everything looks fine to me although I could be missing something.
So at a loss as to why no sound is coming from the soundbar.

Soundbar is connected with hdmi arc to hdmi arc in soundbar.
Take remote off soundbar and set it to a normal volume level.
In formuler remote you setup the tv brand.
If that not work, try in formuler remote to set the remote at "setup volume control" and then choose "soundbar & av receiver". Check if your sounbar brand is there.
But watch out: take first tv remote and set it to normal volume level.
And then try it with formuler remote to upler or lower volume level of soundbar.
Play with it. I must work my friend. Normally it works already with tv brand volume if hdmi cable puts in hdmi (e)arc and in soundbar.
It was also in the news that Youtube have big problems, let us hope it will be fixed soon.

It's a know issue and will be fixed in upcoming update.
Not all user are being affected. I had totally no reboots.
It was already fixed in beta version say some forum users.
But beta is offline due a problem in it.
Hold on my friend till new beta update and or official update is coming.

If Google break it's self, i say it carefully... but i think the do it by purpose, cause it's android aosp and not device certified android, so not the official AndroidTV or certified Android like on a phone...
But who knows, maby will google turn it back. Maby it's a google/android bug. That can also, cause a forum user say that Youtube was disappeared on his Formuler GTV. And the Formuler GTV has the official AndroidTV software and is certified!
So it's possible that's it a mistake by google...

I will try later the day to install youtube on my z11 and z12. (I deleted YouTube with adb app, cause i don't use it because the commercials)
And i will try it and watch it the coming week if it installs and stays on my device.

Ok thank you. Sadly my soundbar is just a basic one that doesn’t support dts or Atmos. Will be buying a new better one in the new year.
But both my soundbar and tv have those ports so will try them and try to set up the remote so at least the formuler remote can control the sound and on/off for the tv.

If it has those both hdmi ports, the tv volume buttons works with your sounbar volume up and down.
If you turn on hdmi-cec on your tv and you turn off the tv, the soundbar should also be turn off. I think your soundbar can react with hdmi cec.
So if you go to bed. Push upper left button and tv and soundbar should be go off.
I did switch it to Smarttube now before your answer. It works, lets hope it continues to do that! Yet again thanks for quick advice!

I contacted someone from formuler for put the newest smarttube in market, but i was to quick. The newest smarttube is already in the formuler market.
Ok thanks I’ll try setting it up again. My soundbar is connected via optical from soundbar direct to tv optical in connection. I’ll try and find a hdmi cable and connect from soundbar to tv hdmi and see if that works.
First check if your soundbar has a hdmi in/(e)arc port.
Then check if your tv have a hdmi 2.1 (e)arc port..
If both yes.
Plug in a good hdmi in the hdmi 2.1 (e)arc port and then in the hdmi-in port in your soundbar.
If your soundbar supports dolby dts and atmos and thruehd then you need hdmi.
With a optical cable you can max receive dolby 5.1.
With hdmi connected by hdmi (e)arc and your soundbar supports dts, and dolby atmos then it works with passthrough.
With a optical cable you don't get atmos, or dts etcetera cause opticial cable doesn't support it.
Hdmi it does. So i hope your tv has hdmi (e)arc and your soundbar supports dolby atmos and dts etc.
Then you see that you have a better sound then before.

and We are back om the same problem! It worked a couple of times going into a VOD trailer, showing it on Youtube...Now we are back on looking at a trailer and it does not go back into MOL3 it is stuck in Youtube...If you force to close MOL3 it starts up with only sound...it takes a reboot/restart of Z12 for MOL3 to work again. Accept for trailers...
Is it a bug? Does anyone else have this issue?! It doesn't do this on my 11 Pro MAX.
Temporary fix:
Remove smarttube from your box.
Open mytvonline.
Set watch trailers to smarttube.
It opens formuler market.
Install smarttube.
And done. Now you can watch trailers with smartube. (If google due update that also didn't blocked)
I did contact Formuler for newest package for the formuler market.
and i hope they changed it in the update.
Hi, I am having a problem with Mytvonline app on GTV
With several IPTV playlists it only displays the first half of the channel groups
Its not the case with mytvonline on my phone or windows apps, just the one on GTV

Tey first in mytvonline2 menu to make an backup on usb.
Remove mytvonline2.
Restart box.
Install mytvonline2 from formuler market (green logo with white trolly)
And restore from mytvonline2 the backup from the usb.
If that not helps.
Contact your provider.
And ask him to delete all the countries in your package! Except the countries you watch.
If you only watch at italy and usa, you can let your provider remove russia, france, belgium, asia, africa etcetera you know? What you don't watch, let it remove by provider!
You have then a shorter list, it's loading much faster, faster epg updated etcetera.

I changed in android settings from image adaptive to hdr10.
I played with Kodi a Dolby Vision movie with Dolby Atmos.
The movie play normal and gives the dolby atmos logo. NOT hdr logo, cause it's dolby vision hdr, but i forced it to hdr10.

A question if I may, I have the z12 ultra which comes with the GTV-BT3 remote. Great remote but I can’t quite figure out how to het it to control my tv, soundbar etc.
I had it set up in the IR settings to my tv, which is an LG 48CX oled model. The volume etc works but I can’t figure out how to get it to turn off the tv when I turn off the box. I have a Panasonic soundbar, which js quite old but in the drop down list, I didn’t see anything for Panasonic??
So I have to use 3 different remotes to control my set up. One for the tv to turn it on/off, the formuler remote to control the box and then the remote to control the soundbar.
What I would like to do is the formuler remote to control all 3 if possible??Could someone tell or help me out here.

Z12 remote you connect with bluetooth so you can control your box.
If you setup the remote with formuler remote app to your tv brand.
You can control also your tv on and off with upper left corner button.
And if you hold left upper button in stb/tv 2 seconds. Remote blinking and you can control tv for a part.
Hold stb/tv button in 2 seconds, led on remote blinks again and it's set to bluetooth again.
But tree devices with one remote?
If soundbar is plugged in your hdmi (e)arc you can control it with tv buttons on the side if you setup remote to your tv brand.

It would be great if Formuler could quickly release an update for the Z11 Pro, as YouTube is one of the most widely used apps across all platforms. It's a real shame that a quick solution hasn't been found to a problem that has been going on for several months, as I think it's preventing a lot of people from returning their devices after purchase because of this issue.
SmartTube is a good solution, but it's not suitable for everyone, and I can understand that.
For my part, I switched from the Z11 Pro to the Z12 Ultra solely for this reason... €200 is a lot to pay for YouTube, but it's an app I use for several hours every day, so it's essential for me.
I didn't need the Z12 Ultra, I could have stuck with the Z11 Pro, which suited me perfectly, but circumstances forced me to change.I still hope that Formuler will release an update soon to fix this problem, so I can take my Z11 out of its box and use it 🙏🏻
First: it's not a Formuler problem. A forced update what GOOGLE DID, did youtube to be broken.

I will try today, i think if you won't want dolby vision, and set it to hdr10 it get normal hdr picture. Cause hdr10 is maby not in the movie.

Put it directly in usb port on device! Not via a hub!
Has the mediabrower the right rights? The usb is ntfs formatted?
Try from playstore install "file manager plus" and give it the rights if it ask.
You can also use the "storage analyse" and remove cache files! to free more space.

Use it only on your box in case if you have a tv that is so old, that it hasn't netflix on it!
The tv support almost always hd and 4k. And the most tv's from the last years supports Hd, 4K, Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vison.

I want to install ProtonVPN. I have installed this app in Z12 Ultra via Google Play Store without a problem.
I received Formuler USB-C Hub this morning.
I have 2 ScanDisk USB stick.
I tried to installed ProtonVPN apk (TV android & TV f-droid (type types)) on Z Mini using Formuler USB-C Hub. Nothing is happening, file is not recognizing from the two usb stick.Also
Gear > Settings > Device Preference Storage - under "Removable Storage" - message flickering between "ScanDisk Safely rejected" and "ESD-USB is safely rejected" This is even when the ScanDisk is in the USB hub.
I have no other apps installed. I reads "1.6GB of 5.6GB used" (can't remember exact figures). So I have enough memory, right?
In the TF slot what microSD card would I need/ you recommend?

Your usb stick needs te be ntfs formatted first for sure on a pc.
Proton vpn you can download from playstore and or
Put downloaded apk on usb.
Put usb in box and open mediabrowser, usb, and then the protonvpn apk.

I managed to install a Netflix app in my GTV and it works fine.
The problem is that it doesn´t show up in app icon to choose as favorite.
The only way to work with it is going to defenitions - all apps and choose the app from ther.
Is any solution to solve this issue?

Maby i stands there. I had also one time i cloudn't find the installed app on the gtv.
But in the formuler remote app you can add an app to an colored button.
Then it saw it and it worked out.

It turns out MOL3 suddenly appeared for update after 2 restarts and now the issue with Youtube is solved for some reason
Never used SmartTube so I don't know how good that one is in this region...will give it a try!

Actually I own a Formular Z11 BT edition. Besides the nVidia Shield it's one of the only Android boxes I know who's capable of playing back Dolby True HD and more importantly Dolby Atmos on a TrueHD track.
My Tizen Based Loewe Stellar TV doesn't Support Dolby Vision. I have a lot of DV only movies on my NAS. On the Z11 Reddish picture is the only thing I can get. Using an Apple TV this is possible, but TrueHD isn't supported on that device.
Does somebody know this Z12 has the feature to convert Dolby Atmos to HDR10?
Only what i know is go to android settings. (Cogwheel)

Hdr output mode
Change from adaptive to hdr10.
or hlg or off in last case.

I had problems with Z12 MOL3 when looking at a trailer it did not go back from Youtube to MOL3 it got stuck. So finally I did a factory reset as I could not see the problem at friends Z12...Now I cannot find MOL3 in apps or Market place? How to I get it?!
Strange my friend, when i did factory reset with my Z12 the software update did install firmware and mytvonline3
Do software update. Try it.
Oh and if you start mytvonline3, select in settings smarttube for trailers.
If you do that it sends you to Formuler maker smarttube.
Install that on and you can use it for trailers.

I have a raspberry pi with 1000s of games from all platforms.
I tried to install retroarch on my Z12 & installed some emulators & roms, but for some reason they fail to run 🤷🏼♂️.
I would prefer a ready made image which looks after all the cores etc (a bit like retropie if you know what i mean).
I've googled, but the couple of apps that appear to be the best for android are not available in the play store for the Z12.

Keep it on your raspberry pi. Switch sd cards for other things on your pi.

I am going to answer my own question - It looks like Formuler USB-C Hub is probably I need. Tried network storage linking Z mini and my desktop it couldn't commuicate.
You can link windows samba shares to your nas. I have a raspberry pi 5 with openmediavault nas software.
Vpn you can install via playstore.
And or remove some apps first. And then install your vpn.
Which vpn you have? Most times you can download the right version (AndroidTV) from the website of the vpn provider via pc. And sideload it.

Hello, I'm also having the same problem for several days. I've tried everything: factory reset, VPN in various countries, factory reset again, changing different connection types, and nothing works. I also installed TizenTube, which works, but it's not compatible with MYTV3. I think Formuler is losing credibility. Previously, it was a problem with TeamViewer starting with model 11, and it still doesn't work. Now it's YouTube. I also think Formuler should pay more attention to this type of important application and keep it updated to avoid these kinds of issues. If you happen to have a solution, please share it. I have an open store and I'm losing customers to these boxes.
In formuler market you can find smarttube.
The one from formuler market app (green logo and white trolly) is functional with trailers in mytvonline3.
If you download it from officia website and sidelaod it, it works, but not via mytvonline3... strange, but true.
Mytvonline3 goes to Formuler market to the smarttube app.
Why it don't just open the app? I don't know.
For trailers via mytvonline3, delete smarttube and download it from formuler market. Then it works.
Should work, each box have his own fingeprint and only the backup made by same box accepted.

It's a molxyz_xxxxxxxxx file. The x are numbers.
So maby each box has different numbers. Give it a try. Make on each box a backup.
And check if your have 3 different molxyz_xxxxxxxx filenames on your usb. Then you know.
Then it works i think.
Can we use one usb flash drive to make backups for 3 different boxes? I know we can only load a specific backup to the specific box.

I’ve seen a few people mention similar behavior, so you’re definitely not alone. It sounds like the Wi-Fi module isn’t reinitializing properly during a soft reboot. A full power cycle forces the hardware to reset, which is why it works again after unplugging. If you haven’t already, try checking for the latest firmware and clearing the network settings before reconnecting. It may also help to test with a different power adapter just in case the box isn’t getting stable power during restart. Hopefully others can test on their devices too so we can see if this is a wider issue.
Wifi and ethernet problems will be fixed in next update. Some users have, the most users not.
Please be patience and update will come.

iIf there are no updates by the end of the month, I can therefore conclude that the era is over. When I see all the bugs and the lack of response from the staff, I think, what's the point of complaining? Nothing ever changes. Today it was Wi-Fi and Ethernet disconnections, why? We don't know? Yet everything works fine on my other devices... Anyway, just another bug. 200 bucks, guys, what a regret this purchase
I understand you are not happy. But pc's, cars, tv's, tv boxes, software etc also need updates.
You can send it back, and buy it a half year or year later again, if you can't wait for the updates. They can bring an update online fast, but then maby other problems. It's a small company, better wait what longer and good update with many fixes and improments then every week one update with just 1 fix.
Christmas is also coming so. Make your choice. wait for updates. They are working hard on each problem. The must reproduce the user problem. Sometimes it happens in one time and other problems to reproduce the can't. We have the same box. I don't have ethernet problems. Some have it.
