  • External HDD files can not be read on Formuler Z8

    I have a strange problem with reading files from my External HDD on Formuler Z.

    HDD is 1TB and is formated Exfat bc i want to use it also on my Macbook.

    When connect it to my Macbook and put some films on it like MKV files 60GB then connect it to FZ8 then the files are not showing in in File Manager. I can see the maps but not the files! also not in other File Manager apps.

    But when i connect it back to my Macbook i do see the files!

    Does anyone know what s wrong here?

    Solved/Solution:

    Everytime i disconnect HDD and add files to it then connect it back to FZ8 then i have to restart FZ8 then it will show the files!

    Solution was to sell formulerZ7 and bought FormulerZ8.
    formulerZ8 has MytvOnline 2 and that works much better then the one on FormulerZ7.

    Recordings works very good and you can edit your schedule recording ( edit start time finish time etc ) Which is not possible on FZ7.
    u should never buy Fz7, Fz8 is much better.

    Ok after testing alot of programs this is What I found out!

    If I record a program Which is storting after 15/20 min then Its recording the whole program! So far So good!

    But if Its night and i wanne record a program Which is starting in the morning early then it records exactly 1 hour only!

    Ok last two nights I did few recording via EPG it did stops after 1 hour, so let’s say it’s the most of time but not always. I think from 5 recording 4 times!

    Tonight I do about 5 recordings from different channels just for test. I let u know the results.

    When i plan to record a program via EPG then sometimes it only records exact 1 hour!

    For example if schedule program is 120min Then a pop up appears that recording is about to start and then it shows right up in screen that 1 hour recording is started!

    I don’t understand why sometimes is like this and sometimes is recording the whole program!

    This is annoying when u plan to record a program while u r not at home and later u find out this!

    I know if u want instant recording then if u press twice recording button then u can adjust time there but u can’t adjust when u want to record a program later via EPG.

    This has nothing to do with my external HDD or USB bc I tried different external drives and formatted with al Supported extensions.

    My EPG is working fine and perfectly without any delay.

    This looks like a bug in software I think.

    I hope u can help me out.
