    But i guess it is supposed to be denied as the url doesn't have a website associated.

    I did the factory reset but with no luck. Did you update to beta at 1st run or kept the one it comes with or updated to the official version?

    Yep, the UI does not go away every time, we have to use the Back button. no matter the time you set it to fade away.

    it only fades normally when i change one channel at a time and slowly.

    The provider as done everything on their side to solve the problem, everything is fine on their side-.

    It is the formuler z8 that can´t connect to Portal since the changes.

    I feel I have a pretty expensive brick now, called Z8. when is this update coming? :frowning_face: :frowning_face: :frowning_face:

    Thanks Sam, i already asked the provider to help, lets see if they get around whatever happened, never the less it is quiet a coincidence, I am still convinced it is related, just after that server change this first time problem..

    SAM, i would be happy if that sentence "does not affect the performance of the device" was true in my case. I am being affected by it, I can´t use Mytvonline2 as it does not connect. It has to be related, the portal was working fine and i already tested the service to be sure by m3u on a PC and its working normally.

    Hello,

    I use Portal but i don´t need to inform the mac to my provider. It has been working like for more then a month, i guess they registered auto at the first login.

    I don´t think that is the issue,

    I did a factory reset and even without setting any connection on Mytvonline2, just trying to update the Z8 gives me a msg "no network" and the connection icon on the Adroind SW stays with and exclamation mark as if it had no internet. But it does have as i am able to use youtube, install apps etc.

    So I am guessing the Formuler Z8 does a internet connection check to some server that is offline/not working.

    Hello,

    I have my Z8 starting with Mytvonline2 but it is now giving a connection error 7, goes to 10% when connecting to the usual portal, the Z8 as a no internet info on the connection with an exclamation mark, i cant go to the SW update as the Formuler says i have no network but The Z8 as internet as it is possible to use for instance youtube and install aps.

    I did a factory reset, it allowed me to update at the first start, i updated to the last Beta and still the same problem.

    Is there a problem with your servers where the box checks for an internet connection?!

Sendo uma Box Retail, funciona normalmente e permite acessos a todos os menus sem restrições.

    Just saying that it is blocked and you can´t reach the menu or change the portal i think it won´t be enough for anyone to help, maybe you can detail what happens, error messages received, exactly what does work or not and probably some pictures would help also. Good Luck.

  • Amazon Prime Video App

    Hello,

    Is there a working version of Amazon Prime Video, of the version without purchase/renting of titles, for use on countries with Amazon Prime Subscription (prime deliveries that give access to Prime Video Library)?

    The downloadable version from the Formuler Z8 Market doesn´t allow login due to country restrictions (wrong app), using a Amazon Spain account with Prime, so it is clear to be the app for the countries with separate subscription and renting/buy contents possibility.

    The app version downloaded from Google Play, seems to be the correct type, the login works fine, all app is usable, all the functions seem to work besides de video player, the app crashes on every attempt to play any content. The player shows a buffering signal, then we can see the content playing for a few seconds without sound and with a blurry image and then the android gives a crashing warning with only the possibility to restart or close.

    Will the develop team ever look into this?

    Hello,

    No problems with audio on my side, iptv / youtube / spotify or soundcloud all playing ok.

    EPG works fine for me, programmed recording is not available yet but I am pretty sure its was told before here (search) that it is to be implemented next month.

    I am not using WiFi at the moment, i used it for an hour or so while setting the box up at max router speed on dual band 5G, 8 hundred something mb.

    Wired it goes pretty well, with the ethernet gigabit connection I am getting on internet speed tests 600/575Mb from the Z8 on a 600/600Mb fiber, Ping delay is similar to what i get on a capable PC on the same network.
