I asked my IPTV Provider to keep the FR Channels + FR Movies + FR Series only, and to remove all the rest (all the other languages).

Being connected MAC/ID everything works well : only the French channels/movies/Series are visible. Being connected XC/API some of the empty groups stay visible regarding the Series (see attached pictures). When connected XC/API with iPhone app these empty groups do not appear.

Is there a reason that some of the groups which are empty remain visible on Formuler Z8 when connected XC/API (and thus a solution to have them removed being connected XC/API ?)

Google Playstore and Formuler Market and other apps like NordVPN, etc... screen is bigger (like zoomed) without having changed something in the Image Format, but good...I like it like this.

At the present time, it works when connected with XC/API only.

EPG downloading time is still a nightmare, I’m surprised, it was not the case with last OFFICIAL version.

The only thing you don’t get updated automatically is channel list indeed (the new « Refresh » button is very useful for this). But no issues with the VOD’s not being updated automatically while switching on from standby mode

I confirm that there is no automatic update of the VoD going from Standby to ON.

It was not the case with the last Official Version.

When I switch OFF the TV the Z8 switches OFF as well automatically (1-2 sec after the TV).

= pressing 1 button switching OFF 2 devices

For switching ON I must switch ON the TV first and then switch ON the Z8 pressing STB on the RC = 2 buttons.

it’s obviously not a problem of pressing 1 or 2 buttons but this feature worked on my former box (m**) both ways.

I downloaded the NORDVPN app in the Formuler Market but noticed that no update (or very few) come from there.

The app must be updated from the Google Store directly, is that correct ?

It therefore means that either you switch off the box using "power off" (not "Standby") or you press the "refresh" button to get the last update of the TV Channels + VoD, is that correct ?

Sorry to insist but in this Beta Version the VoD List and the Channels update only if you are in "Power Off " mode (not in Standby) when switched off, if you press "Refresh" in the menu or if you "disconnect and reconnect" from the "Connections" Menu.

If you are (as I am) in "Standby" mode when switched off, the VoD & Channels will not update automatically the next time you'll switch on the box (only the EPG will).

In the official version VoD Catalog was always up-to-date doing nothing...in the beta version we must manually « refresh » to get the VoD catalog up-to-date...is that correct ?

Indeed it doesn’t work pushing « refresh » you have to process a logout/login to have them back

-> Yes it works, it's the case for me : EPG from one source, IPTV from another source but the script of the channels Id's must be correct in your m3u file otherwise it won't work.

I achieved to get the EPG on the URL file saved on a USB.

I "adjusted" the XML address (taking the basic URL) as explained in the Thread and got it work !

"....Just change following bold positions with included from your existing M3U URL: "http://provider.com/xmltv.php?username=11111&password=22222"..."

I prefer MAC to use catchups and I also need to use XC API to see the movies Trailers in VoD

I noticed a slight audio sync problem on Formuler Z8 and some IPTV Channels.

When I watch the same Channels (coming from the same IPTV provider obviously) on my mobile phone, the problem is not reproduced.

May I adjust that in the settings or using "audio optimiser" ?

Achieved to pair with AirPods v1 (don't know why, but it works…)

Nevertheless I noticed 2 main problems :

1. Putting volume to the max sound is too low in the AirPods, and no possibility to go up.

2. If your AirPods are paired with your iPhone + your Formuler Z8, next time you will get them out of the box they will connect to your iPhone directly and not to the Formuler. And no chance to press on "connect" button in the Bluetooth section in the Formuler, there is only "dissociate" as an option, therefore much room for improvement regarding Bluetooth headset management in the box.

For the rest, the box is really amazing.
