Try to hold down the powerbutton so the menu appear where you can choose to turn off or restart or standby. And you can choose in settings how the box should do when you just klick the power button. It seems that now your box is set to standby

Have you disabled wifi? Probably you are testing with your wifi connected I think.

Can you restart and watch symbols at top. mine starts shows USB then NAS Then when VPN starts NAS disappears i was wondering if this was just me
When you connect to VPN you end up on another network and that's why your NAS disappears from your Z8

Personally only have a Mac, so i took it over to my neighbors to check it on his Windows and it still didn't show. I went through the format process on the Formula as directed. Just odd how the Formuler Z8 can detect but a computer can not.
Where did you see that you should format the disk in the formula box Here?
I think that if you format in formuler boxthen you will have problem connecting that disk to a computer.

I also have that problem with crashes, not all the time but sometimes when I looking at EPG and choose some channel to look at. Sometimes just looking in EPG and browsing up and down, I use portal

Got a new box today from reseller, has been working very good since I started it up. Been watching TV and a few different movies in 4 K HDR without any problems, so now I´m very satisfied with the box

Done all those steps with testing other hdmi cable and factory reset a few times.
And I haven´t had anything connected to the box "usb hhd etc" and only connected with cable.
But I will contact the seller now on monday for sending it back and get a new one instead. Only had it for less than a week

Do you try with another app?
No I have not tried with another app, now the box is packed and ready to return to shop as DOA. Bought the box mainly because of Mytvonline app that seemed nice of what I´ve seen on reviews.
Very strange that it can function when it showing some channel for an hour, and crash just after that I start browsing for changing channel.
And after that it can be that error as soon as the box boots up, don´t have time to do anything before ants war on TV

Hi there every one, I just bought a Z8 to replace my old Iptv box. But some wierd problem with my new box, sometime I can look on some channel for a good time but then I decide to change channel or do something else and then the box just loose picture and ants war on tv.
And after that the box is unresponsive so I have to take out power to shut it of for reboot, and many times I just restart and the box starts up and just goes in to the same ants war when it crashes. I use only cable, no wifi. But the strange thing is that the box can work for an hour or something and when I start using the remote it mostly crashes.
I have a quick video uploaded so people understand Z8 crashes
