Thus far I have 6 of these devices deployed and sadly will not be looking to deploy more until this is resolved.

I’m having a similar issue on 2 GTV devices. Wired Ethernet for live tv is junk. It studders, and other times it’s just a black screen. 5GHZ Wi-Fi no problem. I can confirm that my isp is not throttling and that I have enough bandwidth. It is also not my provider as I also have a Z8 wired without issue. My networking equipment is not the issue as well as it’s all managed enterprise equipment.

It’s very annoying considering my setup now has to break best practice by having 2 live tv broadcast devices running on wireless and taking away airtime.

And yes I also have enough lines subscribed to the devices.

I’ll get the log files uploaded and an update posted here later tonight.

À partir des paramètres de la boîte:

Définissez l'IP statique sur la boîte à partir des paramètres réseau.

Laissez DNS par défaut.

Activez le service SMB sur la boîte. Je n'ai pas défini de mot de passe.

Redémarrez la boîte.

Depuis l'explorateur de fichiers sur PC, saisissez \\ IP de BOX

Cela vous donnera accès au système de fichiers sur la boîte. Vous pouvez donc copier vos enregistrements sur PC.

Utilisez VLC sur PC pour regarder.

From settings on box:

Set static IP on box from network settings.

Leave DNS at default.  

Enable SMB service on box. I did not set a password.  

Restart box.  

From file explorer on PC enter \\IP of BOX  

This will give you access to the file system on the box. So you can copy your recordings to PC.  

Use VLC on PC to watch.

I found an app called VPN Client Pro on the Play store (Developer Colucci-Web.it). For what I needed it for (SSTP) required a yearly subscription yet for the price it’s well worth it. Offers auto connect/ always on. Works great.

Is there anyway I can configure the .ovpn file for the Z8 to connect to either IKEV2 or SSTP without having to install the client on the server? The server is already providing VPN access for external clients.

Does anyone know a VPN app i can download that will allow complete manual configuration for the server? I have my own VPN server and need to be able to connect the box to it when I am traveling and outside of the internal network?
