Short/long buffertime, AFR on/off, ipv6 on/off, VPN (with all different protocols) or not, wired/wireless/hotspot, different iptv provider (I tested 6 now), different internetprovider, different houses, static ip, dns servers, hard reset, updates etc etc. It just doesn't help. And with the Z8 or Z8+ no problems at all.

These rollback problems are not new, ive also had then on my z10 pro max and now on the z11 pro max. Ive also tried everything and reported this several times. Also family on a Z8 and Z8+ dont have these rollbacks, with the same internet and iptv provider. Ive tried the boxes of family at my home and my box there. It only happens on the z10/z11.
Common staff/admins, dont act like this is new. There are several threads about the exact same problem on this forum. Always asking for recordings and giving the same advice. As you can read it happens to several people, with several providers and in different countries. Could it be a Formuler z10/z11 problem?

Folks, there are since few days network issues with many affected Provider in few EU Country`s, please keep this in mind and inform you also from other sources. The Formuler Box can not be the reason for all issues on this world!
Yes, ive noticed and read about the issues the last days. But my problems are from a few weeks. So you are right, Formuler can not be the reason for all the issues in this world, but there are certainly some issues on Formulers side. Thats also why we have this forum, to talk about it and hope to get it fixed and help eachother. Nevertheless I appreciate your input and time.

Yes,i have two different iptv providers and i have tested two more for 24h.

Ok this solution worked for two days. The last two days also stutter with this combination of VPN unfortunately.
-
I have a small, but hopeful update:
For the last two days I have managed to reduce the stutter to a minimum, by using a specific combination of the connection protocol and country, of my VPN server (paid Surfshark subscription).
If I use the exact combination of the protocol OpenVPN/TCP and location Belgium(Antwerp) or Austria, the image is 95% of the time stutterfree. And only this combination works, I have tried over a hundred combinations the past two days.
If I choose another location (for example The Netherlands, Germany, France, Luxembourg, United Kingdom, China, Monaco, Czech Republic, Belgium(Brussel etc.), or another protocol (Wireguard, IKev2 of OpenVPN/UDP), the stuttering starts again. Also the use of no VPN, which I normally do, will make the image stutter.
And again, the stuttering only begins in the evening. Starting at 20.00 o'clock (Dutch time) till midnight. Before or after this time period, I can choose all the locations and protocols of my VPN server or use no VPN at all, without stuttering.
Im hopeful, because this worked for the past two days. And I hope some one else with the same problem is helped by my solution.

Maybe try to find out if the producer of the internet changed something...like digging new cables...installing new controller points.
It might cause distortion during heavy traffic.
Thats also an interesting view, but my parents experience the exact same thing in the evening on the same channels. They live 40 minutes from my house and have a different internet provider (T-Mobile and Ziggo). It would be a massive coincidence if both providers are doing it at the same time. Thanks for your input.

reddevilred1 If I understand you correctly you tried the same iptv service from a different reseller. You really need to trial a totally different iptv service to make the comparison.
I understand your angle, I will try that too.
The crazy thing is, I have this iptv service for years now and never had this particular problem. The Z11 pro max is new, but it also occurs on the Z8+ of my parents. Which worked great for years. It is a problem from the last few weeks for us. I also believe that it is a big iptv service provider and has a lot of resellers. Beside the stutters in the evening and rollback problems (think this last one is a Formuler problem, because more users have this issue), im very satisfied with it.

Iptv supplier only, isp is no problem.
This question was for eddy51

reddevilred1 Take a trial with a different iptv service and compare over a 24 hour period. I have had this happen to me in the past. An iptv service is OK until their servers get overloaded in peak times and they do not upgrade their servers to cope with peak demand.
I did and it had the same stutter in the same channels (tested it simultaneously). Was the same provider, only other reseller and other serverurl. All the directories and channels where the same, because it was the same iptv provider.
Does someone have some advice for the rollbacks? These occur also in the daytime. I already set buffer time to long and AFR off, change dns, ethernet cable and wifi etc.
-
This started happening to me about 6months out the blue,my service was soild for 2y,done everthing you did but couldn't fix it,so I know how frustrating it is,in the end my provider gave me a alternate dns address and that fixed it,don't ask me why
By provider, you mean your isp internet provider or your iptv supplier?
SAM I was not aware of this rule. I will not mention it again.
-
If it is my isp, shouldnt my internetspeed be low also? Im doing speedtest when the stuttering begins, and I get speeds above 500 Mbps. Also Netflix, Kodi (bigger 4k movie's around 80GB) and Youtube stream everything fine at the same moment. And my parents have a different isp, same thing occurs over there.
The only logical explanation for me, for now, is that the iptv server is overloaded at those hours. It is almost 01.00am here now. And everything works fine again. Strange thing is that several other **** users, have no problems at all. Shouldnt all these users have the same problem at the same time?
Does anyone have any more suggestions?
The rollback issues, also happening during the day, are also not solved though..

Its, as usual the last weeks, stuttering right now (21.10h Dutch time). I've tried all your recommended countries with a paid Surfshark VPN connection: Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Czech, Germany and also France, Sweden, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Spain, China, Hong Kong, US and the UK.
But it doesn't make a difference. Well some VPN connections even have more trouble loading the image right (not only stuttering, but also a black screen in between).
I've also tried it with a hotspot on my phone and activated VPN from the phone, just to test. But it keeps stuttering.
Again there is more stutter on the 8k folders/channels, but also on the 'regular' folders/channels. Sometimes it stutters so much you cant even watch it normally, and sometimes it stutters, then 10/15 seconds ok, then a light stutter etc..
Also I have tested the connection around 15.00h, as you mentioned. But it did'nt stutter then, perfect image and sound. Also tried your recommended VPN connections this time. But it all worked fine.
My problem starts around 20.00u (Dutch time) and lasts until ~midnight. During the day, I have no problem.

First all, thank you for your reply.
Ive tried several servers with my VPN connection. For example Dutch, Belgium, Germany, China, Hong Kong. I will try some more tonight, just to check it out. Because, now, during day time, the stutters are not there. The rollback sometimes still is though.
But my speedtests, also during stuttering, are excellent. Also other apps like YouTube, Kodi or Netflix stream everything fine, while live tv is stuttering.

Problem: Stuttering television image and sound. Happens only in the evening, during the day there is no problem at all. Usually starts around 20.00u and stops around midnight 23.30u (Dutch time). Occurs on multiple channels and groups. Seems to stutter more on the 8K channels, but also stutters on the regular channels.
On the Z11 pro max I also have rollbacks of the image, also during the day. Sometimes more often than other times. The image shifts back around 10 seconds and replays. During live channels.
What have I tried:
2 different houses with 2 different payed **** accounts/subscriptions. One Formuler Z11 pro max and other house has a Formuler Z8+. Both houses have different internetproviders (T-Mobile and Ziggo).
- Ethernet cable, tried different cables.
- Wifi connection and hotspot 4g from phone (KPN).
- Different HDMI cables, different HDMI inputs.
- Different TV's.
- Enable and disable AFR.
- Set buffer to short, long.
- Reset connection and restart box.
- Factory reset box.
- Tried Stalker mac, m3u and xtream codecs api connections.
- Static ip, and dns 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1.
- Enable/disable ipv6.
- Tried VPN with different countries (payed Surfshark account).
- Checked internet connection and speeds (above 500 Mbps up and down). No issues.
- Tried ***** test account from another reseller, same stuttering.
Does anyone has any more ideas?

I have exactly the same problem with my new Formuler Z10 pro max (no issues with the same provider, same settings on my Z8). The picture freezes, and moves back like 3 seconds and then continues again. Its very annoying.
Ive send two problem reports:
BFB4DE
Its always after watching around 1.30m on the same channel (doesnt matter which channel). Buffertime 10sec doesnt help.
-
Ty for your reply Sam. The stupid thing is, it worked before and still works on the vod and series section. Only live tv group gives this problem.
How do i get to or sign in on the provider dashboard? Could you pkease explain.
-
I have the following problem with hiding groups from live tv. Previously it worked fine, so I think it's a firmware problem.
I use the adjust option inside the connections menu option.
Hiding groups in vod/series is not a problem. But hiding groups from live tv, results (after some loading time) in an 'empty group' notification popup. After returning to live tv, live tv is empty en gives a black screen. Only a reconnect helps bringing the channels from live tv back.
But still I cant edit the live tv group. Ive done a complete factory reset, but the problem remains..
Anyone has a solution? I use a z8.
-
I am now having the same issue. I am able to hide groups in VOD and TV Series, yet Live Tv states "empty group" when I pursue hiding many foreign countries. And like stated above, I lose live tv and only back arrow into Tv Series and Vod. I have to reload the connection in order to get live Tv. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks
I have the exact same thing. Anyone has a solution for it?
