And he just turned it on and he is getting

Error 7- 500

I have 3 services 2 use a different brand of panel

The one...uses zapx

Its the service that give me the error 7 on my z8 pro

Now if I turn a vpn on the service will connect

One thought my isp is blocking just the one provider

But with same set up and a different brand box same house it connects

So is there anyone with info......is there a conflict

With the z8 and the zap x panel

With both .....mac set up or username and password set up

It was a network issue

my old z8 had an issue with the zap x panel services and they did somthing and fixed it

My service was qorking great until this weekend the same thing it can't connect to the zap x service

But my extreme service connects.

Any ideas

okay

tried a few channels they worked

went to my movies and tried a 4k....it said needed to update the codex i did

it rebooted and now not working again.

and yet the other portals connect with no issues

sorry ....spoke too soon

did a second reset and tried again

it worked

guess needed 2 resets.

will update if it happens again

i did the factory reset

set up all as usual then a update popped up

i installed the update

the mytvapp is there now

loaded the portal # 1 and it loads to 100%

then crashes the app.

says app stopped working.

tried the other portal i use and it works.

but the same set up still works on the alpha.

so must be the z8 with the issue

could a mod of this box maybe pm me so i can ask a few things in private

so i have been using the same set up and same portal on 2 different boxes

alpha up stairs and z8 down stairs.

i don't use the downstairs much but it was working normal last i used it.

alpha is working fine. this weekend i turned on the z8 and loaded the portal and it went to 10% and did nothing. i used a back up url and it loaded then crashed.

i have 2 other portals and they worked fine on the z8.

i just don't under stand how the alpha works but the z8 all of a sudden will not play the same set up.

using the user name and password set up.

i made a new account and tried with mac set up and same issue.

the provider says its the box but i think it has to be them if 2 other portals work fine on the z8

has anyone come across this same issue?

oh and i can have 4 devices on that portal and i only use 2 before anyone says that lol

its doing it again today ill try to do a factory reset

I got it i did the factory data reset and it kept my info

And now dol is working again

i tried to use the device today but the dol keeps crashing.

starts at 10% then goes to 89%

then closes

i forced it closed and still does this

i uninstalled and re installed and keeps doing it

any ideas?

my thoughts on the alpha......its a cheaper box and the remote is cheap

spend the extra and get the z8 a much better box and remote

well I have been running it for a few days my alpha box and tonight it seamed a bit sluggish like it wanted to think to respond

I didn't find that issue with my z8

is there a way to clear the cache on the alpha other then just a reboot?

so I have a service

when I activate with the mac the epg is good

when I activate with the streaming line option the epg is off by 2 hours.

I have a different box and I can correct the off set

is there a way to correct the off set in the z8?

my server just switched to connections with the line connection and I just bought a bunch of the alpha boxes

I want to be able to correct this

is there away?

I saw a google thread fed 2019 they were coming up with a fix

its fed 2020 is there a fix?

have not used the box in a bit when to show a friend and when I went to the vod it asked what player to use?

so I picked one and the movie played

but...….can not fast forward like we use to...…..why the change...…..can we have it back?

just looking at the alph so it only has 1 usb and no optic audio jack

2 usbs would be better 1 for the hard drive and 1 for the wireless keyboard

I just heard about the alpha today

so say just for iptv the alpha preforms just a good as the z8?

i have a different brand and if i go too fast scrolling it can hick up or freeze a bit with in its apps functions

but the z8 i have never had any issues.

just want to know if i buy another batch and go with the alpha can i expect the same performance at the z8

the extra ram means nothing to me if were just using it for iptv

and I hold the tv button it will not bring it back to tv.

okay my other box I can hit vod go to vod hit tv and go to tv

wonder if they can add that too so the tv button just takes you to the tv

I can't seam to get the z8 from vods back to live tv I have to keep hitting back back back
