After testing MyTVOnline 4 on my Formuler Z12 Ultra, I found several issues that still affect the overall stability of the application.

1. Live TV Replay

When restarting a live TV program from the beginning, it is impossible to seek forward or backward within the replay. Playback remains locked to the live position, making time navigation unavailable.

2. VOD & TV Series

This happens randomly:

• When an episode ends and the next one should start automatically, or
• When manually selecting another episode,

the application sometimes returns to the Profile Selection/Login screen instead of starting the selected episode.

3. Screensaver

When the screensaver is active, pressing any button on the remote should return to the current content. However, randomly, instead of returning to the ongoing Live TV or VOD playback, the application sends me back to the Profile Selection/Login screen.

4. TV Series – Season Selection

When browsing a TV series with multiple seasons, the season selector is not always responsive.

Sometimes, when the season number is highlighted and I press OK on the remote, nothing happens. I have to press the button several times before the season list opens.

This issue occurs randomly and makes navigating between seasons frustrating.

Overall feedback

In my opinion, MyTVOnline 4 is still not stable enough for daily use. There are still quite a few random bugs and unexpected behaviors that need to be addressed before it can be considered a stable release.

What happened :

Despite an update check performed correctly, the "invalid config file" tab is displayed.

It should simply show that a more recent config file was not found.

It was a provider problem (begin with a P and 4 letters).

They made something on their side and now it works without any problem with no VPN.

Yep ! With a VPN it's working fine ... But it creates other issues as a speed problem.

I never had this issue before with the same ISP ... That's why I don't understand why this happened with him only

A friend of mine had the same issue since he updated his formuler Z alpha with the last update.

Code 7 every time he tries to connect with mytvonline... I try to came with my box and the same issue appears.

2 options :

1) The ISP block the server address from the provider

2) The provider block the IP

I'm waiting an answer from my provider but I haven't found any solution at this time.

SAM : Can you please explain what "FIX: Re-enable Cloud TimeShift from Normal Channel list" means ?

I did the update but i don't see any changes about Cloud TimeShift.

The CloudTimeshift was working well on stalker server just before i installed the Beta, that's why i supposed it was related.

I'll wait until the "official" release date and if the functionnality is still missing, i'll ask my provider.

I Agree with this, the " > Cloude Timeshift" is missing.

2. Picture 2 is not same on my side, i can see the "Cloude Timeshift icon" right from "Skip Ahead icon".

it's strange. The Cloud Timeshift icon disappeared from the moment I installed the Beta.

However, concerning the "play icon" in the classic menu (picture 1 and 3), it never appeared even with the last official release with MAC/ID Stalker Portal.

I'll try with the UI in english, we never know.

Let me be a little more specific :

With XC Portal Mode (with Username and Password) , here is what I see :

The Cloud Timeshift works fine in this mode. I just need to press this icon or press the "Play Button"on the EPG and the program restart from the beginning.

Now , here is what I have with MAC/ID Stalker Portal :

Icons are gone or not visible, there is no way to find this feature, classic mode or Normal either.

Bug reports :

- Cloud Timeshift icon is not visible in Portal Mode , but OK and Works with XC/API.

- French Translation error in settings : "Timeshift : Activer ou désactiver le changement d'heure locale" should be replace by "Timeshift : Activer ou désactiver le contrôle du direct".

- VOD Category title are partially hidden (bad positions).

- Skip Ahead functionality works well but I experienced some tiny tiny freeze for a few seconds when I start the option (but maybe is because it sacrifices the buffer).

For myself, the most annoying is the catchup replay slower than before. I'm not experiencing any connexion lost with the new hotfix.

Like SAM said, i use the new MOL2 Beta and this issue is fixed now and timeshift works perfectly !

I had the same problem when i use my Portal connexion. Cloudtimeshift never worked for me.

But i found a workaround to make it works. You have to log using Xtream Codes API (with username and password) and now i'm able to use the cloud timeshift whenever i want !

I have the same "issue" with my Z8.

I always thought my provider was the cause.

It's not really a problem for me, but if you find a solution, please share it with us.

Is your epg shows correctly ?

You can set an extra recording time by default in the settings from MOL2 if you want , it can help.

You can press and hold vformat and you will get PQ Setting options and be able to change your Display Mode.

If you're connected using Xtream-code on MOL2, you can use the cloud timeshift option ! It will make you able to replay a live program from the beginning.

To find this option, press "Enter" on a live program and choose the cloud Timeshift option on the bottom of the screen (icon is symbolized by a cloud with 2 arrows inside).

I think it depends on you supplier too.

Personnally i prefer to use Xtream-Code.

With my provider, the EPG works better than with the Portal connection and i'm able to use the live replay with Xtream who doesn't work with the portal connection too.

When you read a VOD or a catchup, if you press ok, you'll have some options on the bottom of the screen. The "jump interval" is symbolize by an "arrow" icon.

Did you try to set the "Jump interval" setting to another value ?

By the way, which Formuler do you use ? (MOL or MOL2 has different settings)

The replay bug is a known issue and has already been patched in our internal builds.

The fix will be available for beta testing at the end of this month.

The official update will be released at the beginning of May.

The current work-around is to disable Local timeshift in the Settings menu of MYTVOnline2.

I don't understand, some channels play at 24fps, but others at 50fps , i can see it if i go to the channel settings when i press "info".

I just had the same problem for months !

Guess what ... Try to desactivate the timeshift option in the settings of your formuler (Z8 for me). The Replay works like a charm since !

But if i activate again the timeshift option , i have the same bug with the video returning 10 to 50 sec backward.
