  • Z11 Pro Max Portal connection issue with NordVPN

    I finally found out where the issue is. After trying many options by exclusion in NordVPN, I realized that the "SPLIT TUNNELING" is causing the problem.

    I must use a vpn (NordVPN) to connect to the kind of portal I have. But once I put even one system app, like formuler Update, formuler remote inside the "SPLIT TUNNELING" option to enable it to work without vpn, it will immediately affect Mytvonline3 to connect to my portal. As if enabling "SPLIT TUNNELING" somehow disables vpn for Mytvonline3. And the VPN key won’t show at homepage meanwhile the vpn is well connected and green. I don’t know why. It’s a mystery. Maybe code compatibility issue on z11 Pro max system while "SPLIT TUNNELING" is triggered in NordVPN.

    So once, I empty the "SPLIT TUNNELING" option with no apps, Mytvonline3 connects to portal and works like a charm, and SHOWING THE VPN KEY AT THE RIGHT UPPER CONNER OF HOMEPAGE.

    P.S. THE SAME THING IS HAPPENING NOW WITH MY GTV WHEN I TRY TO ENABLE "SPLIT TUNNELING" FOR ANY SYSTEM APP AT ALL.

    SO FOR THE MOMENT I DON’T USE "SPLIT TUNNELING" IN MY NORDVPN AND EVERYTHING IS WORKING FINE.

    I HOPE THIS HEPS ANYONE HAVING THIS ISSUE IF THEY USE NORDVPN.

    It's a parody, every time i switch vpn apps i always need to read the fine lines LOL

    That's the only reason i see for not getting the vpn key on MOL3. If you are not using split tunneling then vpn is probably not connecting at all...It says connected but...check with a speedtest app!!!

    Thanks for replying. Yes I’m using split tunneling. And MOL3 is working with vpn. Same way I used to on Z10. Nordvpn makes you enable (adding to split tunneling) the apps that will connect without vpn.

    By the way after trying another URL ending with .COM (because there are additional urls directing to the same server provided by my service provider) for the same package with the same username and password in XC API, MOL3 loaded successfully. Only Tv series will not play ("failed to load VOD data" as error). And the key for vpn is showing on MOL3, but the vpn is not still doing well it’s job within MOL3 because the flags of the channels not being displayed as it supposed to while I’m using vpn on Z10 and Tv series not playing.

    In conclusion :

    1. The system recognizes the vpn because the speed drops from 800mb to 100mb which is normal.

    2. MOL3 is not interacting well with VPN for some reasons (lack of unlocking the all the blocks by the ISP). I repeat MOL2 is not giving me this issue on Z10 with the same portal.

    3. MOL3 will not load some portal URL ending with .XYZ like my own even with vpn.

    I hope the staff will work on those facts. So I’m waiting for formuler to fix these issues on the next stable update.

    P.S : I’M USING THE BETA TO DO THESE TESTS AS FAR AS THE PREVIOUS FIRMWARE WAS NOT SOLVING MY PROBLEM.

    Bro you are a savage, funny as hell though 😂. But it’s all facts ! Talking about vpn blocking IPTV, you are definitely right. This happens to me on 3 different fire stick devices connected to Nordvpn. After few minutes (4…5) it will start buffering eternally specially with VOD. It won’t play anymore, not speed issue because the speed was too good (150mb…on vpn and 800mb without). For almost one week I tried many options and solutions without success. One day something tells to try and change the Protocol. Eh voila. Issue fixed, no more buffering, everything plays hours without stop.

    So anyone having this issue should change the protocol (recommended: NordLynx to OpenVPN(UDP).

    fenixx5458 should try this if using vpn…

    Thanks for replying. Yeah, I have analiti speed already installed. And Nordvpn is fully connected. I tried to restart several times even unplugging it from power source. Beside other app will load my playlist successfully with vpn connected… So I believe the problem is within Mytvonline3. We are buying formuler products because of Mytvonline. I cannot have formuler and be using third party app within for IPTV. The funny thing is that it loaded successfully the first time I did the settings. Now it will take several minutes showing 0%, then show 5% and get stuck right there with error "CONNECTION FAILED" CODE : 1010.

  • Z11 Pro Max Portal connection issue with NordVPN

    Hi there ! The first I installed my z11 pro max, everything went fine. I mean, while using XC API with Nordvpn on, I successfully connected to the service. After turning off the box, it couldn’t connect anymore for days now. Does anybody know what maybe the cause ? My IPTV won’t connect without vpn as my isp is blocking it. So till now I always use vpn on my z8 pro without issue…

    P.S. : while connected to Nordvpn the system doesn’t not show the key in the right upper Conner of the system like my z8 pro used to. As if mytvonline3 having issue to connect through. I don’t know. Can anybody light me up ? Thanks

    From my experience, the device records scheduled channel when I’m not on MOL and even it is on power state “suspended”. In this state, it will power on, record and power off itself after completing the recording. I can assure you that because I have been using it that way when I’m at work...

    Hi there forum ! This is the first time I’m posting here because I couldn’t find any post regarding my issue. I newly get a formuler z8 Pro, replacing the z8. I used to change some settings on the old remote while long pressing the V.FORMAT key which no longer exits on the IR1 remote. I have already set my hot key using the the 3 dot for V.FORMAT. But I don’t know have to get to those hidden settings of picture throug v.format. Long press the 3 doesn’t take me there. Is there anybody who can tell me how to get it.
